The whole county is corrupt. He couldn't get away with this kind of behavior if the rest of the government there wasn't corrupt as well. Nothing has changed in Sparta. It was like this when I lived there 35 years ago and it was like this when my grandparents lived there 70 years ago. It isn't just this sheriff. It is the culture of this community that makes this behavior possible.

Yes they do all the time and they do it to justify killing people They purposely put themselves in the path of the vehicle to say they feared for their lives and soon as they say they feared for their lives case closed There was a cop not long ago charged for this exact thing He clearly jumped out Infront of the vehicle to try to justify murdering that lady I was shocked when they charged him I'm very glad but shocked because 99.9% of the time they get away with their crimes

Word is circulating here that the sheriff THOUGHT this was a man he had beaten in his jail a month before the video. THIS man was on the revoked list.....that's IT..He was NOT suspected of a felony. He was not armed. The use of the vehicle as a weapon seems as per the video...to be happening from the sheriff. THIS man was not speeding....a highway full of police cars may have actually been a bit of a danger. WHY was this video hidden for a YEAR? This is NOT a young rookie cop w/adrenaline problems. He is currently running for reelection.
