I just subbed because I am so interested in this cult. I hope they continue to interview people that left and was so incredibly happy to see Micheal left this cult and realizes even though it was his mother that it was a cult, and it’s dangerous to try and control people and tell them to starve themselves and they said Gwen would often pass out because of her horrible eating habits, and I noticed she would tell them they could eat what we they wanted as long as it was just a little bit. For me personally, I wasn't aware of the churches cult behavior.I missed a couple of weekends at church,then I noticed a difference in people I had established friendship with, stopped responding to my messages ,that frightened me and something didn't feel right from there on.I felt hurt because I believed they cared, because at this point I honestly believed we were a church family... I went to a weigh down workshop conference. I think it was 1999 in Nashville from California. The best part of it was Michael Shamblin and his band. His music was great. He really has talent. I bought his album. It was very good! I wasn’t impressed by Gwen and she pretty much called herself a prophet. Everything seemed to be all about her and how she said she was favored by God cuz she was so obedient to Him etc. It was weird! That was a weird experience and a few years later I found out she started her own church and her employees were to leave their churches and join hers. Now so many years later to find out about this is crazy and that I picked up way back then that something is wrong. Thank you Jesus For giving me discernment. Are we sure Elizabeth is running the church and making these recordings? There's not much evidence that she is actually running the show. Also, the people around her have a lot of incentive (Gwen's will left her money to the children, not the church) to take control of her narrative.
