I have since 2002 when I came to UK have voiced my disapproval of students getting scholarships to do courses in the UK using Ghanaian taxes. If it’s coming from sponsorship from other external sources that’s ok Why say this? Currently all courses offered abroad is offered locally. The students do not return home after their studies. Research has proved that over 80% of students refuse to return. It’s hard time this scheme is abolished abd the funds used to improve our local universities. Sponsors must be those who are currently employed by services on ghana and are guaranteed to return because they are well settled and wouldn’t benefit from staying on after their courses. This will improve our skills and knowledge needed back home. Am ready to help create a scheme to help avert this and improve productivity locally.

This "collective responsibility" concept is nonsense to me, although all Ghanaians have a responsibility. How can collective responsibility work when those who are paid to lead are the very people deeply involved in this canker? This is true but also not true. Many countries are equally or even more blessed with gold than Ghana. Yet because systems work, they don't mine in rivers. They don't polute and degrade their environment for gold. What I am trying to say is that Ghana is not the only country blessed with Gold. In fact our gold deposits are not any extraordinary but we are the only country in the world where law and order seems to have broken down to regulate gold mining.

How do people expect the NDC to stop the NPP with regards to prosecution? These hypocritical analyses should be stopped.
