Thank you so much for this interview. I learned so much. For example, hadn’t heard of being denotified before, and I guess I’m just taken aback at how many ways people in power will find to say that another person doesn’t deserve basic dignity. The situation in America isn’t that far ahead on the path to liberation. Nearly everything thing you discussed is regularly happening in America too, unfortunately… even in the most progressive places. Perhaps it seems rhetorically further ahead on justice and policing, but “defund the police” was so quickly vilified that police budgets actually grew, even in cities that passed laws and ballot measures to redistribute a tiny sliver of their funds. It’s an uphill battle for us all.

I don’t understand Nikita’s angst? She’s had the best education in school. No one discriminated against her. She still used reservation to get into Xaviers. She’s well spoken and intelligent. I am sure she will be welcome in any organisation. So why such angst? Or is she Farris to take on the world on a level playing field?

4:08 min. It's funny how a discussion on caste starts with hailing Gandhianism( despite Gandhi having staunch casteist beliefs) and demonising Savarkar( despite him being an anti-caste figure). The appropriation of Ambedkar by the left doesn't seem to end.

@@kanishk5962 Ambedkar's views on Savarkar predominantly comes out as positive from his writings in Janata magazine & even his books. Again not sure what are your sources for these wild assumptions. The only disagreement he had with Savarkar was on his views on hindu-muslims living under the same roof which Ambedkar thought could never happen. How about u stop cherry-picking & appropriating historical figures especially those whose views are well documented.
