I worked with Wakoli in Ford-Kenya. He's a very humble down to earth guy and while he comes off as a bit of a comedian sometimes, in reality he is very intelligent. Have mad respect for him. It's the kind of politics we need, politics thats pro-people and not about the money or flashiness. Great story Evelyne.

i remember this guy when he was a knut member in bungoma with his old pick up used to give us lifts into town and around the area. And what you see here is really what he projects when he is in the community..... a loving candid person who loves his constituency

Wow this man Wakoli never ceases,this time though am positively suprised. Wakoli has found out a way to do sth for the people, good job. If I could vote, most probably it would be him. Thats why he gets elected almost unopposed. Through humility and not riches. BIG UP!

This guy really leads by example! how humble is he??can't believe this!.wow!..he has not use the position he has to get more wealth...but has continued leaving a simple life while assisting his constituents!..Keep it up Wakoli but try to limit expenses on funerals and diversify to other developement areas!..otherwise your the man unlike others!

Reading the comments against him i now understand kenyas problem.where have the proud wise visionaries taken us?neck deep into debt and financial strain.what we really need is a simple man.a good man who knows that its not the big things that matter.not the roads or trains but satisfaction of the citizen

contrast this great guy with 'sonko' who shows off his wealth and bling...take a pause...contrast him with Uhuru with all the lands and money...take a pause...contrast him with the politicians who boast how much they spend on lunch and dinner...take a pause...now think of how many politicians live such a humble life and visit their constituents every weekend...take a pause...have you ever met your own mp?...now give Wakoli a chance and use your vote wisely!! viva Wakoli!!!

with all due respect...Wakoli is my favorite ordinary leader but I would rather keep him as my area councilor... not anywhere near State House. He is a joke:installing solar panels and attending funerals is no CV to run for presidency...seriously!
@stevegithua33755 жыл бұрын
Yeah.looting public lands and funds on the other hand does make one statehouse material

@kenyanafrican2009: right on the ball..it takes a little sophistication to be a president and a track record record...not solar panels and comics.

@kenyanafrican2009 do you know the cost of setting up elec from 3 constituencies away? Fact-he is among the best managed cdf kitties. Fact: even the ODM wave could not manage to topple him despite doin so for neighbouring mps
