Not nescessarily, this investigator isn't going to show all his cards and blab "a, and b, then c . . all over the news) especially with potential perpetrator still at large. I lived on the same block as her mother in Minnesota at the time. The whole town grieved. For seven years we had prayer vigils from all the church people together in one place on the anniversary. But hope dimmed over time, and our prayers became prayers of grieving and coping with the loss. I sat with Jodi once at a wedding rehearsal and she talked about how hard it was for a news anchor to get a date. I fear she may have bonded with somebody too quickly. She was a ray of sunshine. Everybody still misses her.
@whitemountainapache3297 Жыл бұрын
What a waste of time the prayer vigils were. I guess God just couldn't be bothered answering the prayers.
@pastorpresent1 Жыл бұрын
I understand why you are saying that. I used to say things like that as well. But the prayer vigils drew the town together like nothing else in the 10 years that I lived in that town. God does not promise that nothing bad will happen. But he does promise that he will be with us through it all. My goodness, he let his own son die after some brutal suffering. But that ended well in Waze that people on the scene could not have anticipated. I have found that times of suffering and grief have opened me up to some very important growth spiritually, and emotionally. I sense that you are a young person. Come back to this topic later, maybe much later, and I think you’ll understand better. I hope so. You will also learn how to talk more gently with people on the topic of their grief and loss.

Yes, they were found outside of her car. I'm from Mason City, Iowa. Amy Kuhns called Jodi from the station, figuring she was running late. Jodi answered the phone and had overslept. Amy reported she sounded fine. The police said Jodi had definitely put up a fight. That's obvious as her things were all over the around her car. And part of her key was broken off in the lock of the car. Because of the struggle police have considered that two people may be involved. At the time, Jodi was taken the Key Apartments had window air conditioners. No one heard anything. But as a tenant said, the air conditioners were pretty loud. A white van had been noticed in the area all that week. So, the police focused on locating a white van. People volunteered to search the area. Farmers were told to check all their properties and buildings for anything unusual. As the report stated, Jodi was very well liked in the community. Hopefully, someday, this will be solved.

More power to you, Steve Rich. I hope you catch the guy. Not sure why you're disclosing everything you know about the situation at this junction.

My friend from MN went missing in July of that year in MT. I remember stopping everywhere on the drive out to put up missing ads & someone had just put one up for her. Jeremy Moors has never been found either.

She was running late and then she got kidnapped , so she must have called the station to let them know . How unfortunate so sad for the lady .

Interesting thought, but cell phones didn't exist 30 years ago, and it wasn't always easy to find a pay phone if one was out and about.
@SuperSeriouslyJoking Жыл бұрын
Cell phones did exist 30 years ago, just not many people could afford them, and they were the size of a brick. Pay phones were literally everywhere.

Her coworker friend called her & woke her up, probably regular home phone. It was something like 4am, so easy to accidentally overslept. This is a tragedy I hope they can solve. She deserves justice & her sister deserves answers as well.

There are a number of YT videos on her story, which you might want to watch as your assumptions are incorrect about what happened that morning (and @roriemcfadden6097 is correct).

I checked Wikipedia late last year to see if any updates? It stated her parents had passed without "KNOWING" ? ? SHE HAS A "SISTER". . Great :) @@roriemcfadden6097

Her family may be involved in her disappearance, especially if religion is involved. She went away with some one she knew in a hurry imo.

Well, that was disappointing, NN. This guy is saying Jodi was abducted by a rival of her affections and they fought with items spread around outside her car. Most of this we already know. He claims the police know who did but have sat on it for almost 30 years. Gee, that's helpful. I don't think this interview gets us any closer to solving this.
@thebewitchinghour831 Жыл бұрын
He didn't say anything new. It has already been told at one point that she had been seeing someone new recently. That's where the neighbor's jealousy theory came into play with the public. They never revealed who the guy was that she had just started seeing. You're right. This guy didn't say anything new that those of us who have paid attention to this case didn't already know.

Poor Jodi and her poor family. I hope they find out what happened to her.

Why did they wait 11 months to do the search of her neighborhood area? Even 2 or 3 days is too long to wait to do ground evidence searches. Such a loss !
@whoopsydaisy6389 Жыл бұрын
To me, that delay lends credence to the dirty cop angle. There just wasn't any justifiable reason to wait that long. It seems they're continuing to cover for someone by withholding information decades later.

I enjoy watching crime documentaries (well made ones) and after many years of watching them, I’ve concluded the vast majority of law enforcement, specifically homicide detectives, are mediocre at best. As for large metro areas, I think over many decades, Los Angeles has had some top notch homicide detectives. IMHO.
@PoM-MoM Жыл бұрын
@@danc3693 I think you're correct, the smaller the city the less experience in horrific crimes that larger densely populated have. Take Moscow, Idaho... for example. The victims and/or the suspect(s) there have no hope either way.
