Theres always a few ppl complaining about something the entitled generation that can't focus on one type of sound above all others, and get impatient watching ten seconds of ads or waiting for a second season of their fave show... when I was younger we had to watch 3-5 minds of ads every 10 mins or so and could only watch our fave shows one episode per week unless we tape recorded them and watched them all together sometime after the last episode was finally aired...

This is the first I've heard that Taylor from the Bahamas case was transgender. That's not something you gloss over. It's absolutely relevant, sadly. I've seen multiple reports and interviews about it and never once has anyone mentioned it

The mother was hiding it for a long time. She even admits it. Ppl online speculated but it kept getting shut down. A week or so ago it was finally confirmed n ow mom is talking about it publicly.

Many comments following the various news reports on Taylor addressed the "elephant in the room," i.e. that Taylor was trans. He supposedly had not undergone mtf surgery so the investigation obviously involved searching for a male, not a female. That was never mentioned on news reports nor by the missing man's mother.

Exactly. “Ninety percent of the Bahamian population is of African ancestry.” That’s from Wikipedia!
@PrincessNicEssus4 ай бұрын
Think Taylor’s mom was saying because of her race/sexual orientation they were lax in their investigation. The retreat wouldn’t answer questions and told people to leave when they asked about Taylor. She probably feels if Taylor was white and a woman maybe she would have had more of a rigorous investigation and the retreat would have been more concerned and helpful. Taylor’s family has every right to feel the way they do. Can’t imagine what they all are going through to have a lost child/loved one must be hellish. 🙏

@@PrincessNicEssus except that the population of the Bahamas is like 90% black. So I highly doubt that's a reason they just dismiss a missing persons case. In reality, there's often only so much to go on and when it happens in another country, people from the US expect the law enforcement from these other countries to do the same things as they do here. However, the yoga retreat HAS cooperated- they were the ones who reported her missing in the first place. They also asked police to look into it, which the Bahamian law enforcement did. I get that the family is upset that she hasn't been found but from what I've read, pretty much what can be done has been. They searched and dogs tracked her scent from her tent to the water, near where they later found her phone. They've been searching the area, including the water with drones. They've asked US law enforcement for help. They've looked at area surveillance footage. Hell, that's a lot more than at least half of missing adults right here in the US get and the mother still says they're not doing much, due to her race and gender status.

Do you think we can have just one commentator that does NOT use the word journey. That mother has not been on a journey since her daughter went missing. Terrible nightmare but not a journey for heavens sake. Also, when a person or family member chooses yes chooses to take the meth and heroine route, that is a very Rocky road. Her mom said she had no money, no car, no place to live and her bf was a convict. I'm not sure it gets worse than that. I don't find it much of a mystery. A tragedy is how I would define it and I'm very very sorry for the family. God bless all of you.
