Rachel Morin murder: Sheriff fears other victims out there | Vargas Reports

Authorities have arrested Victor Martinez Hernandez in the killing of Rachel Morin, a Harford County, Maryland mother whose body was found near a popular hiking trail in August 2023. Hernandez, 23, had illegally crossed the border into the U.S. in February 2023, after murdering another young woman in El Salvador a month earlier, according to authorities. Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler joins NewsNation's Elizabeth Vargas to discuss the investigation.

Interesting point about congress protecting citizens. What has happened is that criminals and illegal immigrant criminals get more protection than we do. Homeless drug addicts, those made mentally ill by drugs... The results are obvious. A shame the two parties cannot reach 'across the aisle' effort and get this all addressed. Public safety at all levels. If that means more prisons or longer sentences for repeat offenders and some fist time offenses, we need to get it done.
