Most interesting is to hear some of Jimmy Carter’s campaign speeches as he vied (for consideration) to run as the Democrat Party choice for the Presidency. As he attained that endorsement and eventually became President…the Democrat Party moulded him another direction from his original personal political beliefs. My recollection was that Mr. Carter was a very high ranking naval officer aboard a nuclear submarine…right off the Captain’s elbow. Saying Carter "wasn't a good president" is like saying Biden has some minor memory issues. Carter was the worst president in history until Biden came along. That said however O'Reilly is ironically correct here for one critical point. Carter tried to be a good president. @mikebunch5553 there's an expression for this, drinking the Kool-Aid, after the believers at jonestown Guyana who drank poisoned Kool-Aid to go to heaven. Everything I said is fact. Reagan came in and cleaned up that mess.

Nixon said it best. You need an SOB at President who can make the difficult decisions, LBJ was such a guy. If you are too nice, you will fail as the president, and Carter was way too nice to be President.

I respect the office of president but not all people should be holding political office. Carter taught Democrats in office of leadership especially president how to lead from BEHIND. Carter seemed to be a humanitarian but was not presidential material! RIP former president Jimmy Carter.

A good, honest man, but political and economic novice. His tenure troubled by high inflation and energy shortages and high prices that he seemed unable to take a lead and solve, rather he offered no direction. Failed leadership in hard times.

It's just awful that Bill O'Riley says that the late former president Jimmy Carter was an "awful president" on the same day that Jimmy Carter died. Moreover, It's just as bad that this News Nation host allowed Mr. O'Reilly to negatively criticize Mr. Carter's presidency without any push back. The host could have just said "that's just Bill's opinion and not news Nation" but the host didn't. 🤔 Makes me wonder.

Nothing wrong with objective criticism nor defense of Carters' record in office. he was not an effective President but led a good life due to his religious beliefs. May he RIP.
