Lord forgive me But I hope this man finds the same torment and cruelty in prison that he gave his son .
@ashleydrinkard413528 күн бұрын
Jesus would not want this, have some mercy. As Jesus had mercy on Paul who killed Christians. I pray he gets the help that he needs and finds the Lord in prison not the same torment. It's unfortunate what happened to this child. It is very wicked how it happened. However the judge has to take into account. father hasn't had a criminal record. In all the other bruises and whatever old scars he has internally could be from football or sports. That can't be proven. What if you are on trial for something like this, wouldn't you want a fair trial! Or a bunch of speculation of what people's assumptions are of someone. Hearsay circumstantial. You try a case based on the facts. It's obvious that he has anger and resentment, and took it out on the child in the gym on the unfortunate treadmill incident. My heart sank. I feel for the kiddo Whether he's a so-called narcissist.... I believe the father has regret. And maybe he didn't know how to show love. To give love. Not making excuses. But he didn't premeditate his child's death or intend on murdering him. Many times a narcissist angry within themselves and they do take it out on people. He definitely needs help I do believe there's a huge lesson here. Maybe the Lord only gave him 25 years cuz he can be rehabilitated, maybe you can get an education in prison and help others from turning from those impulses. Who knows, 🤷♀️ The child has his justice and now with the Lord. Pray for this man's salvation not torment. Jesus wouldn't have wanted this... Every sin is equal to the same. Who has not seen cast the first stone I'm not giving this man an excuse, I believe he believes he did not intentionally try to kill his child. So it is considered manslaughter by law.. I didn't show emotion when my dad died, didn't mean I wasn't broken up about it. I just didn't know how to feel. Most of these comments are way too emotionally invested .... My heart goes out to the families, All families. The mother and the FATHER
@ashleydrinkard413528 күн бұрын
I do want to say the father does have some resentment and anger issues. And I don't believe that Cory deserved this. My heart sank when I saw the treadmill video. I also watched the entire trial. Therefore I can make my opinion. My opinion and thoughts in perspective come from a Christ-like mind.

Best part he looks petty rough and defeated. Hes probably afraid that once in prison the prison justice system will take care of him for being a child killer. Prisoners dont like child killers. He will lie and wait in fear of getting a beat down or killed never knowing when it will happen or what will happen which is exactly the way his little son had to wait for everytime he was dropped off for visitation. This hateful coward abused his son because he never wanted him and because of his family he was forced to be a parent to the boy due to if he didnt it would have looked bad for the families reputation. All he had to do was sign off on his rights and his son would still be alive.

This a joke how the father of Gergory stands up and dares to speak of how his family been trashed in public eye,look what his family did to Corey mom trashing her and if peoples would of been able to of listen to the mother about abuse without the interference of the excops options in the system ,little Corey I feel little Corey would be alive today and been in his momma's living arms and not in there sick monsters sons arms ,

Devil kind of father. I'm very pity of Corey 😢. He suffered a lot. It's very disgusting of what he did in treadmill. Corey was very helpless. 😢😢

I understand that his wording was very specific due to “opportunities” for appeals… however, this dude is now having his reality crash down on him. Honestly I truly believe he didn’t necessarily intend to off him. But ultimately at the end of the day he offed his child. The way he addresses the mom is purely his self preservation for a lighter sentence. The raw truth is I believe his childhood with his father had ALOT to do with it. ALOT!!! They raised an abuser behind their abuse. The hatred for the mother was a huge factor. He resented her with a vengeance for not aborting the child. Oddly I do believe he loved his son, he just couldn’t get past the resentment & anger for the mom, combined with him not knowing anything other than what he lived through. I believe that poor Corey was the outlet for relief for his anger. I believe that due to his father’s influences he’s been able to pay consequences for his actions in many many many instances. N now, well it’s time to pay. Things could have been so different had he been made to be held accountable for actions with prior instances maybe Corey had lived. But here we are. I respect the judges decision, don’t necessarily agree but I respect it.

He should've gotten life without the possibility of parole, at the bare minimum. The criminal justice system let this little guy down, big time. Hopefully he receives the justice he was denied at the hands of the other inmates.
