Again this child has been gone since for months now, her mother had to give her another name, idenity, this drilled in her head was she allowed to go to school . As a daddy’s girl myself, that reunion between him and his daughter hits hard. I experienced, not on this level, a bitter custody battle between my parents across state lines. And my mom would take me without my father’s knowledge and my father would be livid and in a panic because he had no clue where i was. This whole ordeal costed me 7yrs of not being in contact with my father and him having no idea where i was. He was like this father and prayed for those 7yrs he didn’t know where i was and never heard from me that i would finally would come to live with him. And his prayers were answered 10yrs later. Parents like this man’s ex need to understand the impact of doing stuff like that to a child is tremendous. His daughter might have trauma now because of that. I don’t have trauma but it still hurts years later that i lost 7yrs of possible memories i could’ve made with my father. They were taken away by my mother’s resentment towards my father for reasons i still don’t know about.
