The recent talk by our new president and some of his followers concerning taking back the Panama canal, making Canada the fifty first state and buying Greenland brings back memories of the old policy of manifest destine. Russia's war in Ukraine and desire to reinstate their lost territories along with China's threat of invading Taiwan and the threats to their neighbors sounds a lot like empire building. We must be very careful to keep a close watch on the three leaders and monitor their meetings to head off any sign of deals that allow them to infringe on the sovereignty of other nations.

As a dual citizen living in Canada, let me tell you it will never work! We have a health care crisis like never before, and every year it gets worse! ER wait times med can be 8-20 hours. There's a shortage of doctors and nurses. You wait up to a year for an MRI, CT scan,vir specialist appt. Millions of people cannot find a family doctor. Recently I needed an MRi for my knee. I had been in pain for three months and was using crutches. I could not get an MRI for eight months, all the while unable to work or see an Orthopedic doctor. Like so many, I went to Buffalo to get an MRI at my own expense. ( $700.00) Can't get physio for four more months. You get the picture. Let me tell you, the grass is not greener on the other side of the fence.

People have been leaving California since 2000. I left a for about a decade to the East Coast. Happy I did not relocate back to the county I was borne and raised in. Was grateful to relocate to another area with family, back to where I can survive and also thrive much better.
