Greenland acquisition is the most forward thinking move this century for the US. It is both strategic and has immense resources. The Arctic Ocean is critical. Greenland is a passageway between the Arctic and Atlantic.

@@notnek202 This is how the talking heads on Russian state TV talk (who are extensions of the Kremlin). They just start listing EU countries they are going to take or in some cases Nuke. Its best to not be like Russia. We are better than this. Just pay the Greenlanders a ton to setup/lease whatever additional ports or bases that are needed. They will accept, no need to 'take' the island, we are not Russia.

I don't think you know how much the Nordic will stick up for each other and France has been Denmarks closes ally through history. We share a border with Germany and there are danish schools and university in Slesvig Holstein and like vise on the Danish side for the Germans community in Denmark. We respect each other and yes history has been brutal but that doesn't mean we can not make the effort reach out with kindness cross borders to our frinds. This retorik are so dengerous. You are putting US regular Americans at danger not the US oligarki. But when it smell like fire there are most probably one.
