Protesters shut down a highway and demonstrated in Cleveland's Public Square Tuesday in response to recent police-involved deaths, including the decision by a Ferguson, Mo. grand jury not to indict Darren Wilson and the fatal police shooting of a 12-year-old boy.
The protest began at Public Square, and then demonstrators marched to the Shoreway, stopping traffic and causing officers to shut the highway down for an hour. The protest ended at the Cudell Recreation Center, where a community forum was held in response to Tamir Rice's death.
Tamir Rice, 12, was shot and killed by police at the Cudell Recreation Center on the city's west side while carrying an airsoft gun.
