The Karnataka cabinet has approved a bill mandating 100 per cent reservation for Kannadigas in private sector for Group C and D posts, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said. The decision was taken at the Cabinet meeting held on Monday. "The Cabinet meeting held yesterday (Monday) approved a bill to make recruitment of 100 per cent Kannadigas mandatory for 'C and D' grade posts in all private industries in the state," Siddaramaiah said in a post on X. "We are a pro-Kannada government. Our priority is to look after the welfare of the Kannadigas," he said. According to sources in the law department, the 'Karnataka State Employment of Local Candidates in the Industries, Factories and Other Establishments Bill, 2024' will be tabled on Thursday in the Assembly.

These politicians recommend localities and take money from them also. Similarly, they also make it mandatory after sometime. When the candidates approach them, they will put pressure on the HR to take the candidate whether he will fit in the position or not. Employers Association has to take it seriously and oppose this in court.

Please remember nothing works in merit in private sector... its all on the person who is in management which decide whom should be given jobs in technical/non technical, especially in leader ship roles .. hell lot of politics in private sector.. local people always suffer in their own state because the management people are from different state... bringing reservation doesn't resolve the issue.. its on the people who should be honest, genuine and who believes in equality and have some work ethics will lead the company well, but this is what lacking in INDIA... Example : The employee who works hard and loyal to the job from many years should be given opportunity to grow in his roles time to time.. but no all of a sudden some one will join the company and become a manager or team lead who is the friend or relative of management people.. that really sucks and employee gets pissed off...

कर्नाटक में आरक्षण की यह व्यवस्था प्रशंसनीय है और यह प्रवासन को रोकने और राज्य की संस्कृति और भाषा के संरक्षण के लिए अच्छी है..मैं कहना चाहूंगा कि हर राज्य को इसे हासिल करना चाहिए। राज्य के बाहर के लिए 50% और 30% पर्याप्त है...वैसे भी परिवार एक पास नही रह पा रहे हैं । भाग दौर कम होगा जीवन मे स्थिरता आयेगी।..
