Yes Iman....hum wahan par 3 saal reh kar aaye....I have seen 3 feet of snow and we used to use kerosene heaters. Vehicles need proper chains on the wheels to avoid slipping on the road. Kashmiris dry all vegetables in summers for winter use as trucks carrying vegetables from plain areas to mountains get stranded on road for days because of snow. Yes zameeni illakey ke logo ke liye toh 4 din se zyada nahi ruka jaata because of extreme weather. Even kashmiri muslims have houses all over India and they too migrate to these houses. Ladakhis bhi aisey hi kartey hain . Kaafi log rukey bhi hotey hain to earn from winter tourists .😊

27:34 january is always cooler than december in northern india... cuz some rainfall occurs by the end of december, which makes the winds wetter, plus fogs and weathery skies have their own impact. difficult cold is just two weeks for me during 1-15 january, which have the capacity to impact the daily work a little bit and make me search for heat and cushions.

Route complete hain.. Trial Chal raha hain.. Just last week a 40 wagon fully loaded freight train was parked on the Anji Khad Bridge which is basically one of the worlds tallest cable stayed bridges and along side it was parked some 25 trucks to check the load bearing capacity of the bridge. And the one tunnel that had delayed this project is now complete ( Tunnel 33 which is right under the Vaishnodevi temple mountain) . Expect full service including the Vande Bharat on Jan 26 ( Republic Day ) when the Prime Minister will officially inaugurate the first train from Delhi to Srinagar on full completion of this National Project.
