The Ariane Passenger Payload Experiment (APPLE) was ISRO's first indigenous, experimental communication satellite. It was launched into GTO (Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit) (Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit) by the third development flight of ESA'a Ariane vehicle from Kourou on June 19, 1981. ISRO has established a regional navigation satellite system called Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC). NavIC was erstwhile known as Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS). NavIC is designed with a constellation of 7 satellites and a network of ground stations operating 24 x 7. Three satellites of the constellation are placed in geostationary orbit, at 32.5°E, 83°E and 129.5°E respectively, and four satellites are placed in inclined geosynchronous orbit with equatorial crossing of 55°E and 111.75°E respectively, with inclination of 29° (two satellites in each plane). The ground network consists of control centre, precise timing facility, range and integrity monitoring stations, two-way ranging stations, etc.

Syed Muzammil's videos are really good, well researched. Accepting the truth is the first step towards any change that one may want to see in a society. What Ataturk told the Turks, Sir Syed told the Muslims of the subcontinent. He told them to embrace Western education but he was ridiculed, fatwas were issued against him. Mullahs said there was nothing to learn from these kafirs and that everything was there in their Holy Book. Muslim mind has ossified over the past several centuries. For this to change, the subcontinent needs another Ataturk. It is sad to note that even the Muslims in India, barring a few, are not open to modern education and come under the sway of the mullahs easily.

Currently there is a craze or rather race going on within the Pakistani Public Reaction U Tubers making videos on the Chandrayaan launch and comparing ISRO with SUPARCO. Not one of those U Tubers and even the ones doing one on one talk shows has had the guts to even mention the name of Dr Abdus Salam or where he stands in Pakistan's history today.
