This Chitrakoot waterfall is on Indravati River and mainly changes it's color according to season in rainy it's muddy brown in winters it's milky white 35 kms from my house I visit couple of time in every year

Maine kabhi socha nahi tha ki aapki blog me mere shahar ke paas ke do waterfall shamil honge. Bahut khushi hui. Mai 1990 se1995 tak chitrakot waterfall se 6 km pahle wale gaon me rah chuka hu. Real name chitrakot hai, chitrakoot nahi. Ise 12th century tak chakrakoot kaha jata tha.

That's my state. But I haven't been there since 1989, because I live out of my state now. Thank you both, for you, I refreshed my childhood memories. Back then, there wasn't good road to approach there, no hotels, no traffic, but things have changed a lot now, as I can see. One small correction. It's original name is Chitrakot not Chitrkoot. But, many people misspell this.

I just visited Chitrakoot waterfall in Dec2020. Its a magnificent water fall. You can not judge its beauty by just seeing lot of rain water instead when the water is clean then its very beautiful. Infact we can ride in a boat down the waterfall so as to feel the actual falling water current. I just loved this place.

This waterfall is in my state....Lord raam spent his 10 years in Chhattisgarh during his van vas of 14 years.... Chitrakoot waterfall is the Asia's niagra fall....1000ft wide and 100 feet height...and the amazing fact is that there is more than 150 waterfall in Bastar small big medium....still exploring.......

CAUTION: Teerathgarh falls ko kai baar dekha hai Barisho me.... forest bahut hai wahan aur usme bahut saare saanp hote hein. Poisonous snakes. King cobra se lekar Green Mamba tak, ek se ek khatarnaak snakes. Falls ke hi neeche ek bahut purana mandir bhi hai jo flood me kai baar doob jata hai.... Logon ko flood aane pe rescue bhi kiya gya hai kai baar mandir se.
