It was many years ago but had a battery explode on me but I was in full PPE it didn’t phase me. There are quite a few car fires here on KZbin and the firefighters are not wearing their their mask. Inhaling carcinogens and taking too many risk. When that battery blew up on me, I felt all the stuff that hit my mask and if I wouldn’t have been wearing it, I might be blind today? On a suppression crew my position is the last person, so i can keep an eye on my crew and the scene.

Luckily before it gets that bad you will smell gas fumes. So if you do smell gas, it is very dangerous and you need to get it fixed. I did find my problem and the fuel regulator had failed internally, the regulator sits right up in the engine by the fuel rail.

I know the reason for car fires.I have been writing to people in authority for the last 23 years but nothing has happened.All governments all over the world must ban the ECM ( electronic control module) and the MPFI which requires 50 to 60 psi ( high pressure operating systems) also known as HPOS and reintroduce the carburettor system where the cam dives the mechanical fuel pump which requires only 12 to 15 psi ( low pressure operating systems) LPOs . All that the carburettor required was an increase in air intake with the increase in fuel intake for which a turbo or super charge is more than enough to burn all the intake and make sure there is no unburnt fuel in the exhaust.If the compression is adequate and the centrifugal advance (CFA) is appropriate and is periodically adjusted with an ignition timing light.The 12 volt battery current that's amplified to 20 thousand volts when it comes out from the secondary winding of the coil is more than enough to burn all the intake mixture. Let's get this ECM and fuel injection system banned and let's join hands to reintroduce the carburettor system.Lives are precious and loved ones are even more.Lets put an end to these kind of tragedies on road.May God put a burden on you.

(rhetorical question) Curious why the CO has the nozzle instead of the FF?
@chosenone10044 жыл бұрын
How do you know that’s the CO ? I guess they use red helmets ? Not to sound mean , but I actually thought that was a rookie and he was just being backed up by a FF . You could see the backup guy giving what appeared to be orders ? Hard to tell . But I would hope that a CO would know that you don’t use a straight steam on Vehicle fires up . I mean that’s pretty basic knowledge u know . 🤷🏻♂️

Because he does? Why does it matter to so many people.
@charleseggers4 жыл бұрын
grey man The CO has a greater responsibility to see the bigger picture. The nozzle work is the job of the FF.

Wait...you put air raid WW2 global war sirens in the intro? Wtf it’s a car fire ffs.
@Brian135494 жыл бұрын
That air raid siren you hear is to notify the fire fighters of a call. A lot volunteer departments use them
