Betty Kovack is a gentile scholar. She presents her understanding thoughtfully with quiet enthusiasm. She is a delightful scholar. I am not a scholar; I am an Intuitive Learner, therefore, I have deep respect for those who have adopted that style of learning and understanding.

I feel lucky to have met and become friends with Betty years ago. She was no less enthusiastic about Life itself then than she is now. It's especially touching to hear her speak in these times when so many other teachers have faded into a sort of quiet despair. Thanks for this offering! Wonderful to learn about your programs, too, Dr. Mishlove!

"If we do not know who we are, we can be controlled" Dr. Betty Kovacs states so simply in this most inspiring talk with Dr. Jeffrey Mishlove. Almost every sentence she spoke resonated so deeply with me, and I kept exclaiming 'Yes, Yes, Yes!" as I took in today's new interview. Several times I needed to pause in order to digest the rich 'nougats of knowledge' in which Dr. Kovacs synthesized deep and ancient understandings of the mysteries of life and death. She spoke of how the unseen world that is all around us can help us to create meaning and a sense of order, even/ especially in the times of great chaos and suffering (such as the times we are living in now). What an aptly timed release of this interview! Thank you to all who made it possible, and brought it from the unseen realm (of thought and inspiration) into the realm of form, from which we can see and hear, and be nourished by, just as the Goddess nourishes us by reminding us of who we truly are.

This comment by Betty Kovacs: To have God tell us that "from dust you will return to dust." It seems like a horrific thing to say to someone, but it certainly was to try to get us too know we are nothing.. I immediately purchased her book. I've always felt that with my upbringing in the churches and felt a loss of my spirit like it wasn't mine anymore. I've long sence been away from most all religions and I'm not atheist, I'm just "Me" with my own Spirit swiming in a river of knowledge. Thank you Jeffrey Mishlove another great guest interview

Great interview. Dr Kovacs knows her stuff. Myth is a poorly understood topic and is usually equated with the word "lie." But the purpose of all myth is to lead one back to oneself, which, ironically, is in the direction of the ultimate Truth.

so moving to hear about the san. Those of your guests who have worked with tribal and traditional cultures ae the ones who were genuinely and seriously involved with them. Not like the post modernists nihilists who simply use the existence of alternate beliefs and cultures for convenience, just to deny the existence of all meaning. To destroy rather than to build.

Luria introduces first hierarchical step, to which Kulish adds the throughout universal rule of hierarchical resemblance(what above is below as the simplest format) The concept of hitlabshut ("enclothement") implies a radical shift of focus in considering the nature of Creation. According to this perspective, the chief dynamic of Creation is not evolutionary, but rather interactional. Higher strata of reality are constantly enclothing themselves within lower strata, like the soul within a body, thereby infusing every element of Creation with an inner force that transcends its own position within the universal hierarchy. Hitlabshut is very much a "biological" dynamic, accounting for the life-force which resides within Creation; hishtalshelut, on the other hand, is a "physical" one, concerned with the condensed-energy of "matter" (spiritual vessels) rather than the life-force of the soul.[7] Due to this deeper, more internal paradigm, the new doctrines Luria introduced explain Kabbalistic teachings and passages in the Zohar that remained superficially understood and externally described before.

Charming storyteller, with a somewhat distorted image about Time and history, as she seems to believe that the Egyptian's records of the Tree of life and immortality is older than the Sumerian's (although she has never been to Egypt, according to herself) and she is surprised to hear from Jeffery that there are older stories out there, before the Jewish and Egyptian versions! It's a good thing though, that she likes the possibility of the older stories existing and the idea of going back to them, when we are lost.

From what I understand there are 3 consequent fundamental phases of Kabbalah within the mains stream understanding of it: Zokhar, Luriea and a very recent Kulish theological physics. for some reason at some point won sympathy of some elements of US science and technology establishment. This theological physics is based on a sort of morphological model that is postulated as a universal , fundamental law of physics throughout Universe- the model would be a Tree of Life . Dr Kulish managed to create very sophisticated mathematics for this model and applied in some very interesting area as in lasers and it worked as what we know free electron laser. IN USSR they had their own internal patent to that tech to mr Kulish name from what i heard. Mind that Puthoff and Targ both were in lasers

@devidaughter77824 жыл бұрын
can we please change 'mankind' to 'humankind'? for so long men have been talking about other men as representing the whole of humankind, without even realizing that they were implicitly or explicitly excluding women with their language, systems and structures. Its time now for us all to find ways of consciously embracing the wholeness of who we are- masculine and feminine, in all we say and do. ..as Dr. Kovacs so beautifully reminds us in this conversation.

If you look into the work of David Talbot who you should have as a guest and the work of Anthony Perattyou will come to see that the tree of life was written all over the world on petroglyphs well before any religion or civilization or culture had it as a symbol. And that is because it was originally a column of plasma that connected a polar configuration of planets scene in Earth's north pole

Dark is dark you can't find nothing in it, but problem is the light because light cast the shadows. Be aware of making no more shadows than already is, because sometimes you can be blinded by light. Light are emotions. Don't cover it with shadow of superficial meanings. Every meaning has root in emotion. That is why are archetypes so triggering. Don't make meaning from the shadows, that is just path of light distortion.

No one should ever try to understand the stories of the bible without referencing old Sumerican accounts of creation .... Otherwise you risk of seeing everything as symbol and allgeory when instead those stories were meant to be taken literraly, as historic facts ... and I cringe when the word "god" is used as if we all agreed on its meaning ... the bible, by the way, does not speak of "god", as the unique, transcendental, omnipotent etc being that we imagine ... not there at all ...

Always strange hearing new-agers talking about "Kundalini energy" outside of the Yogic context. It's become a buzzword that is overused and cheapened. Talk about cultural appropriation (here it was used to describe the energy of an Egyptian goddess I think). Stopped watching at that point.
@itzakpoelzig330 Жыл бұрын
If it's a real phenomenon, don't you think other cultures would also be aware of it? Kundalini may be the vedic word for something, but the thing itself belongs to everyone, wouldn't you say?

She has no idea what she’s taking about in regards to the “stories” in the Torah. Classic literal misinterpretation. Maybe she should open up the Zohar or the Eitz Chaim and learn about what “the garden” was really about. Classic “academic” arrogance when approaching a Living tradition. The Torah is so beyond a book of stories or myths, it’s laughable to see people treat it as such. It’s like looking at Tarot cards and thinking they are meant to play card games. Really wish people would actually study the living traditions before they pontificate about how they are “inverted.”
@canisronis27533 жыл бұрын
“She has no idea what she’s talking about” “learn about what the garden was “really” about”...perfect illustration of emotional arrogance. I feel it to be true, therefore it has to be. She is wrong, I am right.
