Newton Flight Academy Istanbul

The Newton Flight Academy, Turkey's first and the fourth in the world, has opened in Istanbul! The Newton Flight Academy project, supported by Boeing and hosted by İGA Istanbul Airport, in cooperation with FIRST Scandinavia offers young people between the ages of 11-18 the opportunity to learn basic flight principles through hands on experience with 6 flight simulators, a laboratory area and other technological equipment. Within the academy, young people will explore mathematical calculation, navigation, meteorology, aerodynamics, and sustainable aviation fuels in a fun environment.
The second Newton Flight Academy, which first started its activities in Bodo, Norway in 2016, was established in 2022 in Glasgow, Scotland, and the third in Beijing, the capital of China, in 2023. The fourth of the Newton Flight Academies, visited and attended flight trainings by more than 24 thousand people between 2016 and 2022, was opened in Istanbul on December 20, 2023.
