Sir doubt while applying nlm in horizontal direction to get first equation of relation u have considered a2-a1 as net accn for B but it can be opposite also ??Then we get two cases....

Sir, if the conveyor belt is stuck and we put a block on it and run it, then which side will the friction take place? If the accleration is on right side.

Respected Sir in 1st question acceleration of both the blocks are diff 1st block acceleration is a1 and 2nd block acceleration is a2-a1 Sir won't the string will slag which is not observed in regular problems Sir please clarify my query please 🙏 🙏 🙏

the relations obtained in the solutions are correct. whatever you saying is correct when there is no movement of other bodies except blocks. here surface on which the block is kept is also moving. if you observe the situation from bigger block's frame then you will observe the usual behavior

Hi sir, there will be two normal forces on A due to C from both right and left side because it's touching both the gaps and so their sum is zero as they are equal and in opposite direction?
@PhysicswithAkashGoyal
@PhysicswithAkashGoyal 4 жыл бұрын
If you make free body diagram of A then A is accelerating in Horizontal direction... So there must be net force on it in horizontal... And only horizontal force on it is Normal reaction... So if both normal reactions are acting then these have to be different

How external force(horizontal) could be zero ? As C is moving with acceleration a2 in horizontal direction

If C is moving with acceleration then Net "external force " on "C" is NOT zero. Here if you see the A+ B+ C system there is No external force along horizontal. If there is any then tell the Name of that force which is external. Tension , Normal whatever Name you take are either internal OR vertical

Sir in this question why we are taking acceleration of B to be a2 also. I think a2 will not be there as there is no friction between them so block B will just have acceleration a1 due to tension force in string and it will slip on C with a1 please tell why we are also considering a2 even when there is no friction between B and C
@cookwiththecook1343
@cookwiththecook1343 2 жыл бұрын
Hi… a1 acceleration is with respect to the block c so to get the acceleration wrt to ground acceleration a2 is added …yes there will be no friction the a2 added is solely for a1 + a2 (vectors) to be equal to the acceleration in ground frame

Look at the pulley, pulley is getting a force to the right due to tension, who do you think is balancing it, the block C. But teh block C is not fixed so it moves> :>
