Newton St. Boswells to Carlisle railway

This is awesome! I'd like to see a version where the eye altitude is 20 metres - almost a drivers eye view :-)

Thanks for posting my request Tom. Perhaps the most bitterly fought against closure battle of them all . The closure of the Waverley cut off Hawick ,Newcastleton and Longtown from the railway map. Fortunately Galashiels is back thanks to a partial reopening. The ambition to reopen all the way to Carlisle has diminished currently, but the excuse of buildings on the line preventing reopening is a false one as a fair few were required to be demolished to reopen the line to Galashiels. Another incredibly stupid closure was the Cuckoo line from Eridge to Polgate Junction. Can you imagine the amount of commuter traffic generated if the towns of hailsham ,Heathfield and Mayfield had a railway again ?.
