If i wanted to buy a karger amount of BTC (say $10k+), as a Canadian, would you recommend buying USDC on ndax, transferring to another exchange like bitget and buying btc there? Or is that extra step not a good idea?

Definitely buy from NDAX and then transfer it over to another exchange assuming that you can buy the USDC cheaper which I would assume is the case. Hope that helps!

That’s because either Newton or NDAX is cheaper to cash out from. PayTrie at no price point based on the numbers I was using at the time makes sense to cash out from. Hope that makes sense.

Yes you do. You would need to verify your personal information for pretty much all crypto platforms/exchanges in Canada so NDAX is no exception.
