Those percentage boxes is referring to the percentage of your available coins. Example if you had $100 and you pressed the 50% button, you are wanting to do an action with $50 worth of coins.

Once I buy and how do I set stop loss incase it goes down lower ???
@cryptoforcanadians Жыл бұрын
So for the coin you're wanting to put a stop loss in for, click on "Stop" in the order page. Then for size, enter in the number of coins and then for price enter in the stop price. Hope that makes sense!

Do you still recommend Newton? I haven't used them since last year but I remember they used to be your top pick.
@cryptoforcanadians Жыл бұрын
Things have changed and it really depends on your specific situation. Check out this video as I compare Newton along with NDAX and which would be the better option to go with based on your situation: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJKmamarra6sgbs. Hope that helps clarify things!

Question. I read on Reddit that the spreads are tighter with a limit order vs market order. Is this true? Thanks
@cryptoforcanadians11 ай бұрын
Yes kind of. When you market, you're buying based on the first order on the sell side of the order book. However, when you put in a limit order, you get the EXACT price that you put in. Market and limit orders are different in how they work. Everything is really based on the order book.

Can I send Bitcoin from my Ndax wallet to binance wallet?

You can send your coins off to anywhere. Why Binance though? I ask because they’ve left Canada last year.

When I go to transfer money to NDAX, it says it uses autodeposit. Do you know why this is if there are security questions/answers?

There are. Follow the instructions on the deposit page. It'll tell you what to input and where.

Yes, you can definitely withdraw from them.

@@cryptoforcanadians ok and do you know any other alternatives since they seem to have a minimum of $20 for a purchase but I sell products between 7-10 dollars and I want my customers to pay through crypto but they don’t like doing kyc and they wouldn’t want to pay the extra 10/15 dollars. Also, I don’t want peer to peer trading because with peer to peer someone can always scam u.

How to set stop loss and take profit in the platform???

Does ndax allow you to transfer crypto from a cold storage wallet? Newton fees are a bit too high for regular trades so I took my funds off their platform and put it on the trezor wallet. I might be wrong but it doesn't seem like there is an option to transfer from my wallet onto the NDAX platform? Is my only option to sell on newton and be in CAD and then just e-transfer onto NDAX? Unfortunate if that's the case since Newton is like 1.5% per trade. Thanks for any insight.
@cryptoforcanadians Жыл бұрын
Yes you can withdraw crypto from NDAX to a cold storage wallet. To be honest, NDAX is more of an exchange where you would trade because withdrawing from them is a bit on the expensive side unless you're withdrawing in large sums then yeah they can be cheaper than other platforms. Here's a link to their fees: ndax.io/fees. For Newton, you could either: 1) sell on Newton and then withdraw via e-transfer to bank account and then fund NDAX via e-transfer or 2) send coins directly to NDAX to then sell/cash out. If you plan on funding NDAX with those coins you plan on selling, I think option 2 is better because of the lower spread and fees. Hope that helps and let me know if you have any other questions.

Has the process changed on funding an account from 8 months ago? The web app look similar to mine but when I click on wallet the only button I see at the bottom is the SEND, I do not see a RECEIVE button.
@cryptoforcanadians7 ай бұрын
I'm not sure why you don't see a receive button. I can see a receive button on my account. Has your account been fully verified yet?
@galactichazzard89327 ай бұрын
@@cryptoforcanadians Yes it has. I got the (NDAX | Congratulations! Your NDAX Account is Verified Congratulations! We're excited to inform you that your NDAX account verification is complete! You can now start trading, staking, and investing in digital assets on our secure platform.) but when I log in and click on my name on top my status shows (there's a small red triangle and when I click on it it says this account has restricted access). So I opened 2 tickets with them last night. One because of the missing button and another because on my cell APP the windows to complete the brief assesment always comes back even if it tells me verification status completed. Not sure what's wrong so I'll wait for them to get back to me. Guess it's time to test customer support lol. I also opened an account with Bull Bitcoin just to have a secondary option to buy BTC if needed and that one worked fine. Thanks for the reply.. Subd & Liked

@@cryptoforcanadians I finally got a half ass reply from them this morning saying that the reason for the restricted account (for the next 15 days) is because when I filled out the questionaire one of the answers did not meet their criteria and feel I do not know enough about crypto to start purchasing right away. This means that instead I should have lied my ass off and say that I had 5 years experience in crypto and I would have been fine. So much for being honest and telling the truth. Thank you about that video for Newton vs NDAX. I had already watched it (twice) and also downloaded your Excel sheet (big thank you for that). I just ordered a Yubikey 5 NFC and will be creating an account with Newton tomorrow. BTW, did you ever use Bull Bitcoin or is it worth it as a Canadian. Their buy & sell price seems a bit much. BTC was at $92,669.52 today and their SELL was $94,617.96 and BUY prices was $90,780.56.

Glad to hear that you've got a response. Yeah I'm not sure how they qualify people but I know they have to ask due to regulations. As for Bull Bitcoin, you're right they're expensive which is why I don't use them.

Haha, believe it or not NDAX's cash withdrawal fee used to be $25 and I actually used to think that I wouldn't use them as well. Yeah I wish I didn't have to pay $5 to withdraw my cash but it's not that much considering how much ahead they are compared to other Canadian crypto exchanges in terms of fee structure.
