Can you imagine Gardaí pepper-spraying the people in this video? They did that to their descendants this week while they were batoning them.

Agh yes, their “descendants” were acting so reasonably and didn’t force the Gardai’s hand by lighting fires or anything like that.

Feck the guards, but also feck the people from Gript and the National Party who are going around rural towns (including my own of 250 people) riling local people up against migrants to promote their own political agendas. A lot of them in Newtownmountkennedy, you can spot them in the footage. Liars and grifters

How nostalgic! Those same songs on this video were sung by the “Irish from Ireland” (first generation “off the boat”) at Irish Fellowship Club of Colorado ceilis years ago when I was young. Like it says in the song “Spancil Hill,” “The old ones they are dead and gone, the young ones turning grey.”

My parents emigrated to San Francisco in the early fifties. This is exactly what they did in their courting time. My mother (RIP) told me stories of riding on the motorbike to dances in Tralee. What fun they had. I miss you mom.

Beautiful happy dancing long before The River Dance flooded the world with its brilliance, The lassies and boys all dressed up in their finest. When I was grown up, I missed out on all of this finery, I came along a little later and was listening to the greatest rocking music of Thin Lizzy, "Django" Reinhardt, Rory Gallagher, Bob Dylan, "Django" Reinhardt, The Doors, CCR and other greats and going to see as many gigs/ concerts as the very little money I earned would allow, at first my much older neighbors worried about me but in a very short time they would ask me this play those records so they to could jump for joy and dance along. I have always fully blamed Phil Lynott for leading me astray and I enjoyed every moment of those hard-rocking days, So thank you, Phil, I would not have it any other way

Just remember the children who are hearing the abuse directed at them in newtownmountkennedy, they haven't chosen to be in your town. I hope your children are tucked up in a warm bed and can have a safe sleep . Blame the government not the people who they have allowed to be let in.
@marynadononeill
@marynadononeill Ай бұрын
Nobody is blaming them. When the government does such a terrible job with inhumane policies everybody gets hurt. To be letting these people in with no plan and the poor migrants and the displaced indigenous Irish SLEEPING ON THE STREETS is a crime. To beat peaceful protestors is a crime. I'm sorry some children have to listen to the abuse of the local Irish protecting their homes but that's life. Immigration is a good thing if done right. What we have going on here is very bad indeed.

They are not children they are all men. Look at the foreigners in those tents in town they are all men. Afganistan, Pakistan, Nigeria, Somalia. These people are dangerous and right beside the "Asylum Center" there is a sports center that teenage girls play gaelic sports in. There have been so many sexual assaults on women by these people that don't get reported on and the guards tell the victims to stay quiet. It's sick. Also there's fuck all gardai in the area because it is so rural so the police will be there to bring them in and protect then but will leave and will not lift a finger when they innevitably act in an antisocial manner!

@@marynadononeill It’s not the governments fault that anyone can turn up and claim asylum. That’s a legal right, that once invoked Ireland is obligated to process the asylum claim. You can say that the government is too slow to process applications and is not taking adequate steps to deport failed applicants. You should understand what you’re trying to criticise if you want to be taken seriously.

Hey Janet, I'm in neighbouring Arklow and I want to know where these kids are at because all I see are males from North Africa or Georgia. Also one of them decided to corner a girl in a stock room and shut the door in a shop a few weeks ago. Wicklow town is getting it worse again, the Gardaí are in the Grand Hotel every second day of the week and Courtown is destroyed.

The first known Irish people who resided in Russia were part of a company that, during the Polish-Russian War (1605-18), was part of a regiment under the command of Wilim Grim. Later, captain-Rittmeister Jacob Shaw switched sides. In 1614 they left the fortress of Bely to join Russian forces.[1][2] The regiment participated in several Russo-Crimean Wars against the Crimean-Nogai raids. In 1626, all foreign mercenaries received Russian names, and after converting to Orthodox Christianity they received material benefits (typically lands with serfs or rubles and clothes).
