Why does it have to be f*ck BMF? That’s that “only one ninja at a time” mindset. Why you elevating this Dominican dude over 2 Blk men? Not saying Peña didn’t rock with Blacks, clearly he did. But he wasn’t born in New Orleans. He came there as young adult. Meech and Terry were born and bred in their city. I’ve seen Dominican hustlers like him in NYC. They get an easier line to the Colombian and Mexican plugs because they speak Spanish and have those contacts thru other Latinos. But they know how to manipulate Black underlings by waving around money and work, to be distros. BMF did it bigger bottomline. More money, longer run, bigger crew and more cities. Yet, they didn’t get life in prison like Peña, because they didn’t trust a cop. If a dude can portray his badge and oath, he’ll sell you out when the time comes. Meech and Terry were smart enough to know that. You’re supposed to corrupt cops thru your underlings, not directly. You damn sure don’t send a cop to do hits. You use cops for inside info and to arrest the opps only. You can barely trust a tested hood ninja not to snitch, when facing a m*rder case. With all that said, it would make a dope series.🎉
