22:28 The guy who sells Duncan the absinthe would appear in a later episode as a pompous, murderous ambassador. By the way, it was thus episode that made me aware of absinthe. I have been living in Asia seven years now , and one night about three years ago, a friend of mine and I went to a bar where they stocked absinthe and I ordered it. The waiter prepared it with the flame, sugar cube, water in the special container, everything. It stung me at first but I enjoyed it. I'm not one for drinking alcohol except on special occasions, like my birthday, Christmas and New Year's, but next to French and Chilean red wine, absinthe has become a favorite of mine.

CINEDIGM/ FOR EVIL´S SAKE was one of the very best episodes. I always enjoyed watching this one. 24:11 Guess the first movie showing all those window puppets in a context like this was BLADERUNNER 33:08 THAT STORE FOR FINE WINE AND LIQUORS - LE BON HOMME = THE GENTLEMAN. In Contenental Europe those stores have a much higher reputation and better clientel as most of those in the States. Also the quality and the prices for their goods is usually much higher.

French bread is only good fresh. It gets stale fast. It's not meant to keep for long periods or refrigerated. So one would have to buy it often. At least this is my experience buying it. Never been to France but based on things I read and what people have told me, it's the same there.

Same happened in Germany THE TRADITIONAL BAKERIES AND THE OLD WAYS OF BAKING are dying out slowly in favor for frachised bakeries and supermarkets getting their more inexpeinsive done products made quick and with much less care in the industrial way out of a factory just to put it in an oven to let appear it fresh. And not only that, this kind of mass product even molds faster due to the not always disclosured contents and due to less hygenic working procedures to keep production costs low. So scandals in the European food production are also here regularily the case. So it is really down to you don´t pay much you don´t get much out of it.

It was in 79 AD on Mt. Vesuvius, when the volcano erupted. According to Dawson, it was the only known recording of an immortal beheading on holy ground. Possibly that is what caused the volcano to erupt.

Another example of HIGHLANDER recycling actors. The old liquor store seller would be seen again in the S04 Episode PROMISES, where he would portray a foreign county leader with a chip on his shoulder whose bodyguard - Kassim - was an elegant Moorish Immortal who held Mac to an old oath between them to help him keep the descendants of his old master in the seat of power.

It actually has nothing to do with punishment from a deity, and more to do with the fact that when one immortal sleighs another on sacred ground (religion having nothing to do with it, but rather the belief of those who consider it sacred), some of the life energy from the slayer along with that of the slain is absorbed by it.

Duncan never lied to the inspector. Duncan would answer a question with a question and not answer the inspector question. When Duncan said inspector assistant lied to you all these years but you believe him about this the inspector he was had. Then when he said your going to say he was here all night. She did not answer the question she just said you would not want me to lie and the inspector case died on the spot. The moral of the story never get angry give the people against you enough rope and their own words will hang there case.
