We need many more videos from you explaining attributes. I’ve had a lot of people requesting on group finder that have many points in every single attribute (even some above 600+gs) or I’ll join a group finder lobby last because I play healer and realize that I’m out damaging a player using rapier / void gauntlet that is spec’d with points in strength. This group finder was such a great add into the game but I’ve seen a spike in new players not understanding attributes / attribute milestones within certain builds.

There are so many fun weapon combos and builds you can play. Eventually you will have all the weapons maxed out. Then it's gathering the gear to make those builds work that's the journey.

I run warhammer and life staff for a solo build at lvl 53 and it’s FUN. Very powerful combo, maybe not the greatest for expeditions, but just for quests it’s fun and strong as hell. Pop a sacred ground and beacon before a boss and when I was leveling I had no difficulties soloing multiple levels higher then what I was

I love the game but my problem is confidence,guess you can't help with that! Lol I'd love to learn and do more expeditions but I don't want to drag a group down, everyone likes to rush rush. I mainly DPS but would love to be a tank but wow what a disaster that would be...I have arthritis in both hands so my refexes aren't that great so I usually just end up farming and crafting and gathering until I get bored and move on...

Have the same problem. I feel like everyone knows what they're doing and I'm lost. Last time I played an expedition got insulted badly. I was doing my best as a healer trying to learn the mechanics but people can be really toxic. I would also like to play tank but I never will

I used to play dauntless with this really quiet guy, he was so knowledgeable on the game and had been playing it since alpha, but he just never spoke too much because he had a pretty bad lisp. I hope he’s feeling better within himself nowadays

My suggestion would be to put "first time, no flame pls" or something to that extent at the beginning to set the expectation. And also ask if someone can guide you via pings to help you tank along or follow along. If they can't ping, they ain't good enough to flame you anyway.

Just send it into a regular expedition ad dps. I just picked up the game again this last weekend and none if my groups said anything. It also gives you an good idea of what to do if you want to tank it

I have played New World in a while, but back when I used to, my biggest regret was choosing the wrong territory standing bonus. Had that changed? If not, that's a good thing to warn new players. Selecting experience over storage space or gather speed was definitely my biggest mistake and I wish we could reset those.

The first one about being able to switch to what you want when you want with respec is a problem in the game for me. I don't like being able to change a seasoned character to whatever class or spec you want. It's just wrong for my style. If you want to play mage you need to create a mage. Same for warrior or whatever. That's just my preference though

I just stsrted this week and have been jumping from melee weapon to melee weapon, trying to pick 1 to level up with my fire staff. The problem is, at lv15 it takes so many hits to kill lv15 mobs, I get swarmed. What would you suggest to focus on dps in order to move forward?

Also started playing last weekend and decided that I wanna play as a healer. However, I'm having a lot of fun leveling with hatchet and life staff so figured that I wanna stick with it, even though I already know that I'll have to level up the void gauntlet at some point.

Having the hatchet as your second weapon with life staff is amazing as a solo player especially when you can slap a gem into the hatchet to spec it into whatever attribute you have the most into and then during group activities void gauntlet and life staff is unbeatable for healers

I've been playing since it was first released but I lost my PC shortly after. Ended up getting the steam deck but had all types of issues running the game. Anyway, those issues are somewhat fixed now so I can play again. I play using a Hatchet/Great Axe, but recently tried the Flail and I'M IN LOVE. I feel like I want some range though and I kinda dislike the throwing hatchet. Any fun 2nd weapon suggestions?

I would say yes to buying as long as it’s a good boost, by playing you should be fed lots of stuff so use the market to fill in any gaps along the way

I Just started playing this a week ago and I have had 0 lag. My cousin who also started the same time as me had tons of lag in towns he upgraded his processor and Graphics card and the problem went away your pc may have been too weak for the game.

I’ve had the same problem I fixed it when I went into setting lowered nameplate quality to 2 put graphics to low and make sure it’s on your ssd drive not hard drive very important

I was testing a full logging suit today. And compared to my ww full luck suit it was useless. Same with skinning and mining gear. Luck on gear seems to increase rare drops far more. It was night and day the difference.

I break everything down until 60.. You can craft better most of the way through. Resources are where the money is. Gear really isn't worth it. If you craft stick to it , a lot of the BIs is crafted.

Sorry but "Endgame starts at level 1" is a ridiculous statement. Name one other MMO where "all these things you do at level 1 benefit you and progress you towards these (endgame) goals" doesn't apply. I know it's semantics at this point but you simply do not access the endgame at level 1 in New World.

I guess my point was that what I understand to be "endgame" to be the content/activities you do when you are literally at the end of the game. Usually that means having leveled up your character to max level and completed some sort of core objective or main story quest. If you see resource farming, crafting, playing the economy as endgame, then I would agree, those are parts of this game you can technically access at level 1, but is that in and of itself "content"?
