Nen has clear Rules, which helps at every step of the Road. It is classified as a ‚hard Magic System’ for a reason and is easy to adapt because of that. Everything you program-in will multiply the Options (=Fun) for youre Players and this Multplication-Effect is literally gonna multiply with time. Basically: Each little thing/mechanic you add can be applied to entire Groups or even literally ‚all’ Abilities, thus creating more Abilities. The Main-Thing to do is really just shuffling Attributes of all the Mobs and Blocks around. Make a Dirtblock behave like a Magma-Block and you have yet another ability; This Concept can be done without much Brain-Work for 1000+ Times. Start with the Abilities we know from the Series and give each of them Alternatives. If an Ability is ‚more complex’ (like Deep Purle) link the different Options of the Ability to Keyboard-Keys. Deep Purple forms things out of Smoke, so just makee a Boat appear whewn you click ‚B’, and so on and so on. Some Argue the very Existence of Restrictions/Vows makes it LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to make a good HxH-Mod and/or Game, but i hard-disagree. Remember Yorkshin arc fortune telling, half of spiders die. Pakudona, shaknard and kortopi died, plus Ubogin = 4 deaths. 2 more will die but Kuroro and the spider will survive.

Hisoka said "fate changed," I think in yorknew ark. and I have a copy of the 34. In the author's note, Togashi said he wanted Hisoka to kill Machi right there but decided last minute he wanted her to live. So he said not everything is set in stone and he'll change things if he thinks it's a better decision. So nothing is really decided.

Something that I've thought of and haven't fully worked out, but have found it interesting and would never put past togashi to do is making Kurapika a pseudo leader of the Spiders. Be it in a way the Kurapika defeats chrollo and the legs decide that he should be the new leader, Chrollo puts a nen curse on him making Kurapika have to be the leader in a nen roundabout way, or even Kurapika himself has to lie and say he's the leader in order to achieve is vengeful goals/duties in the Succession War. Regardless I think it would be an interesting take on the oh so long conflict

I've always found Chrollo's quest for revenge to be a bit strange. When we first got introduced to the troupe, it was stated that one of the main ways to become a part of it is to kill one of the members. In other words "kill one of our family members, and we will welcome you as family." I understood this to be an unwritten rule that being part of the crew you needed to be ready to die and also that power is prioritized as a way to be welcomed over trust (which is why Hisoka was so easily welcomed, 'cause he's powerful despite not being trustworthy). This was also why I thought they didn't try to avenge Pakunoda or Uvogin at the end of the arc: keeping the spider alive is more important than trying to avenge dead members. So where we are at present, I'd have an easier time digesting the plot if Chrollo was just chasing Hisoka because he's a threat to the troupe, not as a way to emotionally avenge his comrades. I just don't buy it.

My theory is that after losing 4 members, Chrollo has started to abandon that ideology and is realizing that he cherishes the troupe too much for him to care about taking the safe route. His true colors might be showing in this arc

He's shown to not understand himself, and the journey without the Troupe (while they worked hard to get a nen exorcist for him) and Pakunoda's decision to save him and her sacrifice possibly cracked a hard outer shell he had. Even though Chrollo's an excellent asset, they got lucky with having Greed Island conveniently there as a spot for hunters to gather and one of them being an exorcist. Without that convenience I'd figure the Troupe would take years to find a nen exorcist, considering how rare finding another nen user is supposed to be in the world, let alone a nen exorcist, let alone also be the most infamous criminal organization that could never go snooping around openly for such a specific thing. Because of all that, Chrollo probably felt valued as an individual despite his best intentions of existing solely as a cog in the machine. Also let's not forget, he cried when Uvogin died and lamented the passing. Probably handled it better than most, but still cared, and he believed at the time Uvogin died for the purpose of the night's mission. Take into acount that Hisoka was his problem to deal with that he let slip into the Troupe in the first place and then slip past death, Chrollo may feel pretty guilty about the deaths. And when you add on the facts that Kortopi was extremely valuable with his nen ability (Shalknark had his uses I'm sure as well, but for duping people and stealing treasure Kortopi was priceless) and that Hisoka wants to slaughter the entire Troupe and is making good on his promise of that so far, Chrollo has good reason to be stressed out and fixated on Hisoka, his character developing into a softie or not.

Well in flashback in the anime we see almost all of yorktown arc members when they only formed Phantom troupe. Hisoka kiling off 4'th number seems to be only one instance of someone replacing member after directly killing him. Kalluto and Illumi joining is different. I realy have no idea why they let him join

The circumstances are different. Kurapika was taking revenge for something they did which could be seen as "fair" in his eyes if a member dies as everyone knows what they are doing, is said that there was a chance chrollo wanted to recruit kurapika for killing uvogin as he values the spider as a whole more than its member and pakunoda died through her own choices( while kurapika's fault it was still for revenge) so she could still be alive. Hisoka killed a member and joined the spider so is a 1 for 1 but then he betrayed them for the only reason to fight chrollo so he left an empty spot out of whim, then he fought chrollo, he lost (although there is a theory chrollo "cheated" but then again hisoka basically allowed it ) and he not only didnt accept his loss but killed other 2 members for no apparent reason ( if chrollo cheated it could be understandable but unnecessary as he only wanted to fight chrollo until that point ) and he said he wanted to kill the spiders just for the fun of it, so he is putting the phantom troupe in danger for no real reason than just having a kick out of it or petty revenge ( as he could just find chrollo and fight him again ).

My greatest question is if Kurapika can forgive Chrollo if he does indeed ask for forgiveness because he understands Kurapika after loosing his troupe, and what process will Kurapika undergo for it to happen, and by some miracle Kurapika gets to live on and find love and makes a family of his own, will he finally be able to let go fully of the past, forgiving himself and forgiving the troupe and just enjoy the peace and joy he will feel? will he finally be able to let himself breath and all that stuff? cause he really deserve a happy ending, kinda sad that he might die.

i wish soooooo badly to see them interact. by far they have the most heavily weighted and traumatic past but very little interactions in the whole show. which kinda sucks because i don't want to sound like a shipper but they do have an interesting chemistry (?) Nooo more like dynamic i guess. Chrollo's/phantom troupe's existence has played a massive role in making Kurapika, Kurapika. from what ive seen and whats been foreshadowed a tiny bit, they will interact again. and its possible that the turning point for both their characters will be their interactions. that is if togashi doesn't change his mind or finishes the story

I think it’s highly possible that the way that Chrollo will die will be mix of both the first and the third option. Where basically the entire Phantom Troop gets killed off by Hisoka, and then Chrollo begins to understand how Kurapika feels and ends up hating himself for it and feels deeply srry for wht he did to Kurapika’s clan because he ends up suffering the same fate as Kurapika and realizes how much of a monster he truly is. Then he ends up sacrificing his life to save Kurapika from some sort of cataclysmic event as a way of apologizing to Kurapika for the atrocities that he has committed. Which would be sick cause this conclusion would be a double religious allegory, alluding to the two religious figures that a lot of Chrollo’s character is based off of, that being Jesus and Buddha. Because well, similar to Jesus he has 12 disciples, and similar to Buddha, he seeks to understand the ways of the universe and fate itself and well… Just look at the guy’s character design, he literally looks like if Buddha was a mall goth.😆 And the religious allegories that this ending would be creating is well, for one, him finally realizing all the evil that he has committed were his own conscious actions and not that of fate, therefore making him realize that he is responsible for his own destiny. This would be an allegory for Buddha’s own enlightenment of reaching Nirvana just with a dark twist on it. Similarly Chrollo sacrificing his own life to atone for his actions and to save Kurapika, would be a very interesting twist on Jesus dying on the cross for humanity’s sins. Except unlike Jesus Chrollo wouldn’t be sacrificing his life for everyone else’s sins, he would be sacrificing his life for his own sins. This, in my opinion would be the perfect way to put an end to Chrollo’s character. Also ur theories were ABSOLUTELY fantastic. I don’t think a few fan theories hv ever made me more excited about where a series is heading than this.

I think it would be better if chrollo apologizes to kurapika and kurapika considers letting it go but then ends up killing chrollo anyway in a fit of rage and regretting it and hating himself and hisoka is watching from the shadows waiting to fight the victor of their battle so he would fight the stronger of the two and mocks kurapika in his emotional state until kurapika attacks hisoka and then hisoka kills kurapika. I wonder if Togashi ever says “Spirit Gun!” When he pees. Or “Spirit Shotgun”/ uses the sword to open dimensions when he takes massive poops. A few years ago, Oda had a special on his office. He had a mini train he would ride to different rooms, a toilet that looked like a shark because Jaws scared him and he thought he’d poo faster sitting on a sharks mouth. Oda’s desk - super messy and crazy. Bleaches - perfectly clean. Togashi - A future teller ( Hisoka & Mike Tyson getting off during fights) but I think he also has a Nokia phone, as not even Mike Tyson with the power of rubber and gum can break it. But I imagine he plays snake all day. We gotta get him the holy grail so he can live forever to finish Kurapika’s arc to end the series, so Berserk doesn’t repeat. Though the ending is depressingly fitting, he struggled to continue writing but did, and towards his passing produced more chapters. RIP. A manga with a legitimately valuable life lesson.

What makes chrollo such a legendary character is his mysteriousness , we saw almost nothing of his past so we still don't know why he does what he does , but i believe that the scene where gon asks him a certain question under the rain holds so much significance , here is my analysis so bear with me : Gon proceeded to ask him : "how can you kill people who got nothing to do with you ?" Chrollo replies : "Why indeed , because they have nothing to us" At first it seemed like the reason is because he simply he doesn't care about the lives of strangers , the only people he cares about are those associated with him and have a special place is his heart . But after more thought chrollo continues : "No , on second thought it may not be that simple " Now this the most important line because at first , chrollo thought that he kills people because they got NOTHING to do with him , but maybe he was killing them because they got EVERYTHING to do with him. I mean think about it , the spiders come from meteor city , a place where anyone can dump anything , its residents are not even considered a part of society and the whole world knows this but no one did anything about it , so why would chrollo care about the world if the world didn't care about him , maybe chrollo kills undiscriminately , while unconsciously having some sort of revenge against everyone , because they abondoned him and thd rest of meteor city which brings us to the next point : "How do i express my motives with words , i am not fond of it " This is very related to the second point , chrollo here admits that he doesn't want to say his motives out loud , but why one asks ?? Chrollo is a natural charismatic leader , and by defintion he is a proud man , so perhaps it was because he doesn't want to apprear pathetic even in front of two mere children , he doesn't like the role of the victim , so not expressing his motive may as well have been him just locking that reality into his mind. Togashi is a master of his craft and i think that he already has his plans for chrollo so i believe that he wrote that scene for a reason , i just hope he will be healthy enough to continue this amazing piece of art. I could see the outcome of chrollo diing and kurapika seeing or being with him at that time. After, kurapika uses his nen to accomplish what chrollo couldn’t; avenge his spider brethren. Since kurapikas kill was stolen, he might as well and then dies of using one of his spider-only techniques. Also, idk how much of a threat Hisoka is to gon now, kurapika might have that in mind too

I think Kurapika will die but he wont stay dead. Post-mortem nen has been a really big theme as of late so I wouldn't be surprised if Kurapika or even hisoka himself restarts his heart after dying from emperor time. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. That could apply to Kurapika and Hisoka. They both want the spiders dead for their own reasons so they might end up colliding at some point while hunting them down. If and when that happens they either team up...or they kill each other because either of them wants to have the spiders all to themselves. Either way I want to see an interaction between these 2, it'd be interesting to see what they think of their shared goal. Even though Kurapika has more dangerous things, a more dangerous man to be specific, to worry about.

I think an interesting ending to their story would be Hisoka's bloodlust goes crazy after killing most/all the legs with tons of collateral deaths, and Kurapika decides that Hisoka MUST be stopped for every ones sake and must team up with Chrollo to do so, ultimately requiring Chrollo to sacrifice his own life to bring Kurapika back to life to kill Hisoka (A plan he was going to use to bring back the legs after dealing with Hisoka). That way no one gets to have closer in their own story which is the HxH way lol. Kurapika does not only not get revenge but is saved by his enemy, Hisoka does not get to kill Chrollo because he kills himself thru a nen-patch with Kurapika, and Chrollo can not save/revive his friends also cant personally get revenge on Hisoka.
