Manuel's dancing gave me chills & brought me to tears. My fiancee couldn't get past the fact that he was a man in drag. I told him, if you can't see how powerful this is, if you can't look past his gender & see the raw emotion unfolding, then you just must not understand the power of dance & art. I hope to see Manuel perform in person one day. This was so incredibly amazing & powerful!!!

@@KurelMr I would never have agreed to marry him if he was a malicious homophobe. As a boy, men did things to him that should never be done to a child. He's never gone through therapy or worked on his traumas. So it has ended up presenting itself as mild homophobia, in my opinion. He's opened up more to me over the last five years than he has to anyone. It's a process, but I'm trying to get him to go to therapy. I just don't want the internet thinking he's some awful person. We all have our issues!

I agree Paige, i think people on the internet are way too quick to judge and don't realize that literally everyone has their issues, the important thing is that we keep the conversations going and overcome this kinda black and white thinking, because talking to someone and asking them why they feel that way as well as explaining your perspective is often more productive than completely cutting them off
