Jason O'Daniel shut up kid. 7th all time in passing yards. 10th all time in game winning drives. 5 game winning drives in the playoffs, two in the super bowl. Had NINE9 game winning drives in 2011 alone. Eli was the DEFINITION of clutch, I remember watching games where the giants were losing and KNOWING Eli would bring us back in the 4th. Not all stats tell the truth, only giants fans who’ve watched him game in and game out know how truly special Eli Manning was. HOF’er without a doubt.

I couldn't AGREE more, you hit the nail on the head with your comment. I grew up as a NY Giants fan and have watched most every game. But there was something special about Eli Manning from the start. He is a true champion and an outstanding QB. Somehow I knew thing's would be different was Coughlin was let go. Then McAdoo ruined Eli's streak by benching him. And Shurmur well he threw the season when he benched ELI in favor of a rookie QB, I am still LIVID about that. Eli didn't deserve this at all. I wanted him to go out on top like Peyton, still playing with the Giants. Thing is Eli never missed a game for an injury says a lot about him! Eli you are a superstar and future HOF. You ROCK!!!

I have lived my whole life with Eli as quarterback. He will always be the starter in my eyes. Daniel Jones is turning out good, but no one can live up to Eli. Not Brady, not Newton, not even Montana. Eli will always be a legend, from a family of legends, turning out to be probably the biggest legend of them all. To live up to the expectations of Peyton AND Archie, he still blew people away with his talent. I hope that one day we will get Cooper's son, and that he will live up to his uncle's legacy. Only then will there be another starting quarterback in my eyes other than Eli. I do not hope for Eli to become a HOF. That is only because I KNOW that he will be in there one day, and I cannot express how much I want to see that day to come.

If David Diehl, Chris Snee, and Shaun O Hara never aged and Coughlin was still our head coach then Eli would have a lot more success now. Which is overshadowed by the fact that he is one of the best quarterbacks of all time statistically and in the clutch as he won two Super Bowls. Not to mention he had to put up with obj who is a cancer in the locker room and in the 2017 wild card game where he dropped a bunch of potential touchdowns.

Yup, that was a really good game played by Eli, the rest of the team just didn't show up. We needed more games like this. Games where Eli is the teacher who carves up defenses and Daniel is the student asking questions about how to change plays and call audibles. I know I was critical about Eli's play the last two seasons, but most of those games were lost by the defense. The Giants defenses have lost leads Eli's offense gave them in 22 games in three seasons. I still believe Eli Manning has what it takes to play another season.

As a lifelong Steelers fan, I always dreaded games against Eli more than I did Peyton, and I don’t even know why. There was just something he had that his brother didn’t.. and in my opinion, Eli was more clutch in a pressure situation. That pass he threw to Manningham in Super Bowl 46 is one of a handful of plays I’ll never forget. Yes, the catch was great, but that pass was one of the greatest ever, if not THE greatest
