you also left out the very low ranked defense of that team as well. Eli carried that team that year, and the fact the Giants never seemed to put the talent around him after that alone should show that the Giants weren't successful again due to bad management. His numbers in the ladder half of his career was actually better then the first half but the lack of team success gets blamed on him by many. Just shows how many fans of football dont actually understand the game. The guy is a HOF'er to me, and the greatest QB to ever play for the giants, which is a huge accomplishment onto itself. Jerry reese was horrible at putting teams together and took this guy for granted. If they could of had a defense that could stop a leak 2015&2017 could have been great years for this guy. He should have been MVP. Rodgers had a bit better stats but Eli carried that team most of the season. Bad line, worst in NFL running game, D didn't wake up until December. Then it came together in the playoffs.

My favorite Victor Cruz/Manning moment was there first ever touchdown pass against the Eagles where Manning hit Victor Cruz on a route and then Cruz pulled a "three stooges" on multiple eagles defenders he faked into crashing into each other... Giving Cruz a clear path to the end zone. It's the kind of highlight that's much more entertaining with the Benny Hill Theme song playing in the background

This is quite interesting IMO. In the 2 years that Eli had playoff Championship games ('07 and ''11) he played good enough to help his team go 8-0 and 5 of those were away games including 2 away Conf. Champ. games. How did Eli play---he had 15 TD's and only 2 INT's. He had 5 games with a Rating OVER 100, Let's compare and contrast that with Dan Marino for example.

How did each guys team stack up ?? Statistically speaking it was no contest. If you add up the 4 major team Rankings the Dolphins added up to 28 in 1984, 45 in '85, and 34 in '92. But the Giants added up to 54 in '07 and 69 in '11. Obviously the lower the total number the better the team.

I think Eli is underrated primarily because he tried to play for too long. His last 4 or so years in the league were so abysmal, that many fans just remember him for that. Had he retired a few years earlier, I think he’s looked on more favorably by the average fan, and while he’s never going to be approaching top 10 arguments, I don’t think top 20 is too unreasonable.

The best part of this season was Eli outplaying perennially overrated choke artist, Tony Romo, twice for the Division title. Romo only produced when the team around him was loaded. In his PB and PO years ('06,'07, '09,'14) he had 33 Pro Bowlers and 9 All-Pros playing behind him. On the other hand, Eli carried this bad team to the POs and set multiple 4th Q records in the process. Dallas stans, I'll ignore all replies.
