Thank you for this new video about the changing male voice Justin. This video has given me more understanding about how to practice singing in a way which is better suited for my own voice, and the techniques you shared in this video are some that I can't wait to try myself in my singing. Thank you again Justin, Noah and the whole NYVC team! God Bless. ❤

I'm frustrated because I went to so many vocalteachers and they teach always different things, and right now I don't know if what I am doing is a good technic, also, I've been struggling with throat tension for a long time, and of course, I can reach the high notes, And it's sad because I want to be a singer, but it feels very uncomfortable. What can I do to truly improve and make a real change in this?

Hi Tomas! We completely understand. It can be difficult to sort through all the information on singing and to find the strategies that work for your voice. We'd love to help how we can! Throat tension is very common and we have a great video for you to start with: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rHekhXppepysd9E Also check out this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gqm3f2Swj8p3nNU Try the strategies in these videos and see how it goes. A great strategy is also to sing with a low larynx at first in order to dissociate high notes from a high larynx and strain. This is just a first step, and over time your high notes with other larynx positions will get easier. Start with all of this and let us know how it's going along the way! Justin also has a Q&A coming up on January 18th. Check out our posts tab! -NYVC
