When I was thirteen, I slow but steady got into chronic depression, and then, with recurrent suicidal ideation… this year - I’m twenty one - I got into remission and I’m still learning how to live with a healthy-physiological brain 😂 But there were very painful years, full of suffering and the desperate need to disappear to this world -there were good moments, of course -. I think in puberty we must pay special attention to mental health.

I am 25 years old and I no longer have acne problems on my face but I still have acne on my back. I went to a dermatologist I listened to all his advice changed my diet, used tons of skin care products. I drank antibiotics and that acne has decreased but i still have them, unfortunately I can't really influence the stress in life. And I couldn't go to the dermatologist again thanks to the pandemic. Does anyone have a similar problem at my age? And does anyone have any advice for me?

Imo the worst part about male puberty is that it can start at 12, or even at 16. Mine started at 15, and when all my classmates and friends were already big, tall, muscular, strong and hairy, and had their deep voices, I was a little 5,3 squeaker with absolutely 0 body hair and strenght of an 8 year old... That was pretty unfair for me

Stay strong lil fella, this stage of your life has no mercy on you but at the same time is one of the most beautiful ones. Enjoy every single second, perhaps there will be some bad moments like bullies, physical problems (like acne, those spontaneous "moments" and voice cracks) but please, take care of your mental health and social skills. Trust me, I didn't pay attention to those aspects in my life when I was a young boy and I regret it, I went through hard moments and had a lot of issues with my spirit and mind, but now, everything is just fine. Good luck and stay safe.
