Constable Hurn, once again a wonderful upload. I'm just curious if your videos get vetted by either superiors or the NZP media unit prior to uploading? Our media units here across the ditch don't like it when they're not the ones in charge of such video productions, and even our comments on social media can be edited or deleted if we post in an official capacity. Kudos to NZP management for being proactive and supportive with these (I'd imagine if they didn't you'd be posted to either the Chathams or Stewart Island!!). Take care out there!

@newzealandpolice5 жыл бұрын
I've worked with a cop who has Dyslexia, perfect spelling isn't a requirement, it might be worth calling recruiting and getting some more advice as they have undoubtedly helped other people navigate a path through with that challenge. As for placements, you do get some choice, you get recruited to a specific district and could be sent anywhere within it. In Auckland there are three districts: City, Counties Manukau and Waitemata. Each of those districts has a few main stations you could be posted to at the end of College. They are all geographically close but in rural districts the stations can be further apart. If a specific location is important to you talk to recruiting about it, it's probably just a matter of waiting a little be longer for the right spot to come up. - Constable Hurn.
