@freddie Bantu I think you are projecting your own insecurities about race and ethnic politics. As someone who has a diverse family including colourds and whites, I see the willingness for Mr Mckenzie to speak on some of the nuanced intricacies that keep us devided, as key to injecting positive dialog. After all, they are a tiny party so their policies and to a large degree their politics are inconsequential to the broader picture, but if parts of their message yields results then we are forced to consider their perspective and it forces other parties to react to them. Even his crude manner is of importance in driving engagement in their perspective and politics. Just like Julius, Mr Mckenzie exists because of failures within mainstream politics and the 2 dominant parties. So his activism whether sincere or cynical wouldn't be possible if mainstream shortcomings didn't exist. Him and Julius therfore are like "canaries in a coal mine" in a commendatory way, highlighting where we are going wrong as a Democratic society.
