They want to have these offices in very strategic country in Africa (especially Near DRC, Mozambique, and all rich resource countries) to collect intelligence, support instability in the region in order to divide and conquer- Please our leaders, learn from history. @@jjmambendure4816 , it is called trade, my friend -- we sell them something and they sell us something. And, most of the goods we have here are Chinese. Our exports to china exceed 50 billion annually in south Africa alone. So, i don see a problem there. And to deal with your dictators, you don need to be slaves of America and Europe -- you just need to stand up and fight them. We had dictators in south Africa, but we stood up and fought them and today we live in peace and democracy.

Nothing to worry about the US security office. We need it & my young brother Emmanuel Mwamba is just alarming the nation, SADAC & AU with his concerns. If Ghana & Botswana are safe while having the offices which he has mentioned, Zambia will be safe too. What SADAC & AU should concern themselves is to have their leaders rule their countries by fostering the spirit of democracy & not oppressing their citizens & stealing public resources.

What do you need it for? I find it disturbing that African countries are being monitored and spied at, and controlled by the US $$$. This is another form of colonizing Africa.
