It's clear that South Africa is broadly three different nations, at least: 1. Those who want a return to tribalism and a "black African nation" - possibly Zulu-dominated. A militaristic state with weakened state institutions 2. Those who want a liberal democracy, private ownership and property rights, and where the constitution is the supreme law of the land. More individual freedoms and competitive markets and anti-monopoly laws. Probably most of the middle class and aspiring middle class would be in this camp. 3. Those who advocate for communism and who wants the state to control/own the resources and wealth distribution. They want the government to be involved in every aspect of our lives. The ANC is currently a mix-bag of these, but it's been fracturing along those lines

Learn the history of your country and its people. But remember to live in the present. The future is coming and will be different whether we approve or not. We can impact our lives today, not yesterday. Reconciliation is a solid base from which we can cooperate. Some reject it, but they will not hold the future hostage.

I must apologize first but I personally don't think the guy does not tell the truth about the battle of blood River please simply go and Google the subject then give us your option you are being very biased. Living in squalor as you call it why don't you blame the ANC who has now been running this country for the thirty years
