Rwanda urged to stop backing M23 rebels

International Relations Minister Ronald Lamola has urged Rwanda to stop backing M23 rebels and withdraw from the eastern DRC. Speaking at the African Union Peace and Security Council meeting, Lamola said the unauthorised presence of Rwanda's Defence Force in the country violates the DRC's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Pan African Parliament member Prof Abdi Ismail Samatar weighs in.

The idea is creating problem without solutions. Tutsi never existed prior to colonization. It’s was a foresee strategy to maintain neocolonialism for control of resources. Ruanda of Paul Kagame is product of European to control Africa resources. Kagame won the with absolute support from the west at expense of genocide. Genocide happens on both sites because Hutu and Tutsi. As there’s no Tutsi or Hutu language implied as the same tribe. The division was racially motivated basis on physical characteristics on Ruanda and Burundi not in Congo areas. For Congolese all people physically characteristics can only be Ruanda or Burundi( this approach is wrong but has historical explanations). Problem is the European and Tutsi Rwandese.

Sorry South Africa entered a conflict it didn’t understand the historical context of the conflict, borders like you have Vendas in Limpopo and others in Zimbabwe who maybe related, you have Banyamulenge Tutsis born in the Kivu’s then Rwandan Tutsis they’re related right so if the government marginalizes them what do they do? Remember when the late President of DRC Laurent Desire Kabila was helped to get power by the Banyamulenge Tutsis who were boy soldiers called Kadokos they grew up seeing how they were betrayed by the government of Kabila who kicked out even the Rwandan led force under General Kaberebe and Ugandans too but the fact is colonial borders messed up everything this is where M23 stands now. FYI the uranium used to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki came from the DRC which was known as Belgian Congo.

Stop lying. It's not an issue of colonial borders. If this had to do with colonial borders, why are the Hutus not complaining? Hutus are found in the DRC and Rwanda. Why are the Hutus not starting a rebellion? Congo has more than one neighboring country and we have tribes from those countries who are also in Congo. Why is it that those tribes are not starting rebellion and are not complaining about colonial borders? The problem is that Kagame is lying to you Tutsis that the eastern part of Congo belongs to you. It has never belonged to you. Congo has more than 250 tribes and the eastern part of Congo has many tribes. Why should Congo give a huge piece of land to so called Tutsis when there are also many other tribes in the eastern part of Congo who have been living peacefully before the arrival of Kagame? And the government of Congo has never marginalized the Tutsis. Congo had and has Tutsis in government and in the army. The problem with you guys is that you want to create an independent country within Congo. Why should we allow you to do that when we have many tribes?

Nosense. Kagame army under general Kabarebe controlled the DRC since the 1996, two years after the Rwanda genocide. And today you are talking about FDLRs and Tutsi community being the reason to invade DRC? No matter what, no contry has the right to enter an other country's territory without permission.
