10th police officer in court for attempted murder of Thabiso Ngcobo

A 10th police officer charged with the attempted murder of businessman Thabiso Ngcobo is expected to appear in court today. He handed himself over at the Pinetown Police Station. Ngcobo was driving along the M13 near Pinetown in May when his car was forced off the road, and sprayed with bullets. Police at the time claimed it was a case of mistaken identity. Nobuhle Modise reports.

Its only surprising to people who are below middle class. Installing armor plating on a pickup truck is common for high income earners. It only costs around 1-2 mil. People like to install them on big cars because the suspension can handle the extra weight of the armor. You can also buy a bullet proof vest that you wear underneath your clothes. It only costs 4k-8k. You can also install armor on the walls and windows of your house and install reinforced security doors so that crooks can not kick it open or break it. Its easy to be safe if you have money.
