Drinking isnt illegal currently, and the 31st of December has the same national laws as any other night. Dunno, maybe we need to reconsider laws pertaining to alcohol distribution? I have no problem with any law being enforced, as long as the said law has been through correct constitutional procedure. If that is indeed the case here then i have nothing to complain about. If it is not the case, then what is to stop a government official coming up with some other, less sensible 'order' and then enforce that? That is simply my concern. No one wants any mayhem tonight, least of all me.

Look, id have no problem if the government gave sufficient warning, and that the notice/action was completely legal. If it is legal, then i will pipe down and stand corrected.
