Hi Pete, how are you? I saw your article about the Prius hybrid car's cold starting knock noise. I have a Lexus CT 200h hybrid car. Recently, I have been facing problems with my car. When my car starts in the morning, I hear a rattling sound coming from the engine for a few seconds. After that, it will be normal. Recently, I replaced the ignition coil and plugs. About EGR, I didn’t check; if there is a head gasket problem, I can see the notification that the engine temperature will increase right? Could you please suggest what can i do next . Power has been great no failures. MPG has also been good average over 45. Now testing the sodium battery!

Well yeah anyone can do it. If the battery is charged enough and you are on a decline the car can go into EV mode.
