Well. This was redrawn..the originals were lost by the us post office So he redrew this while at Pixar with some help from colleagues there

Never that he knows that he would become the chief creative officer of Pixar Animation Studios. Pete Docter is now one of my favorite Pixar filmmakers ever.

I can see how similarly in Up, Pete used the square shape for the old man, and the rounder shapes for the old woman.

A lot of similarities to Up. I think this will also have a lot of resemblances to his next film, Inside Out, which takes place inside a girls mind.

Did you not notice the copyright at the end of the film? It belongs to Pete Docter. Corporations aren't the only things that can own intellectual property.

I wish they had made him a child athlete. She could've accidentally kicked a soccer ball into his house, it could've landed at the foot of a soccer trophy cabinet, and it would've been a spherical object that reminded him what it was like to be a child in his rectangular world.
