I'm subscribing to the theory posted on the subreddit about what the text says on the Arakni cards: "Chaos Phageome Exo - Chitin" Chaos - Given from the unblurred subtitles in the cards (new talent?) Phageome - No text at the same height as the P at the start. "Phantom" doesn't fit as the "t" would poke up on the blurred text. Phage is a virus that reproduces and breeds. Phageome is the pluralized version. Language in the reveal is about chasing Arakni to a "place where chaos breeds". And Arakni was a test subject in the lore. Exo - Looks like Evo, but Evo has been a subtype so it can't be located here. Spiders have an Exoskeleton. Chitin - Looks like it starts with a "C" and is a subtype of Exoskeleton.

I think the arakni marvels they revealed are transformations for other heroes to take up the mantel of “Arakni” and gain and extra ability at the cost of being able to be targeted for the Marked cards. Dual function of working against Arakni in limited, and adding a new flavor of transformation making the same cards relevant in CC

I personally love the blitz deck collections, and have shifted from buying the booster box to those, as I mostly play casual anyway. As I play mainly Fai and Azalea I am hyped for it!

The new Arakni art shows masks so maybe its like a mask-change effect. Put on a mask and transform. Arakni is so awesome I can't wait for this set. The Cindra marvel is also gorgeous.

Other crazy speculation: 10' Tall & Bulletproof becomes GOATed if you get to switch out the Arakni hero throughout the game, since the effect doesn't carry over between Demi-Heroes and likely won't carry over to whatever these new Arakni cards wind up being.

Arakni in the lore - cold blooded unstoppable killer who sometimes gives gifts to children. Arakni in game - meme choice hero. It'd be real funny if Arakni wasn't even in this set. But let's assume Arakni is in this set that revolves around them. The 4th hero could be Arakni in a different form akin to arakni solitary confinement. Or... if it's 3 v 1, Dromai could make sense, making this a ninja, warrior, assassin, illusionist set.

Remember, current ASC ability gives first stealth attack go again… Could still have that ability in this set to make the most of those ‘on hit draw a card’ abilities… Wouldn’t it be cool if the 4th blitz deck was Shiyana?!?

Here's my tinfoil hat theory. So if you look at the main image for Arakni (the one they put in front of the 6 Arakni cards) there's eyes in their cape and they have a weird pink glow which together read as Demonastery magic to me. And the article never specifies which talents are in the set, so what if the Arakni in the set is a Shadow Assassin and the six Arakni cards are Demi hero style transformations they can switch into. Then the last hero in the Blitz collection would be another Shadow hero.

Hmm, Shapeshifter Arakni? Does it connect somehow with Shiyana lorewise? I can't wait to learn the lore after the emperor assassination, not my heroes, so I'll pass on that set, but still looks like a great set! And the Set 16. James said name "Smash Palace" a few times, I guess we will get Savage Lands set finally! And Karol from LSS spoiled on the polish Pummelowanko podcast, that he is a fan of Brute class, and later stated, that Set 16 is his favourite from the next three sets. So maybe, maybe we will get Brute/Guardian set

my copium theory - arakni will have class-specific counters for 5 classes (conveniently 5 classes associated with volcor) so 6 arakni marvels might be: arakni (assassin) and 5 araknis (which hunt + mark illusionist, ninja, wizard, warrior, guardian) 2 included decks in the blitz box are arakni (warrior) and arakni (ninja)

Not a big fan of naming spicific heroes for on hit card effects. Wish they just named the class or super-type, this would allow them to be remotely playable in Constructed while still being just as useful in Limited.

I absolutely hate that they are sticking with the blitz collection. My big point that i always used to shout from the mountaintops in favor if people trying Flesh and Blood is that the buy-in is 15 bucks. Now, unless you get an older hero, your buy-in is significantly more than that. Just do something else to set the collection apart from the usual sold-separately decks.

@@Kilmarro it makes sense though to push the learn to play product into the armory decks as the main format of the game. If they're willing to commit to blitz more though it does feel like a pretty heavy investment to try out these blitz decks
