Issue with Dash I/O is her consistency. She gets stuck too often with unworkable hands.

Totally! And disruption is so strong right now, if she draws enough items at once, she’s helpless.

@@daltonosborne4236 exactly… Too many conditions needed for her huge unstoppable turns. You just can’t pull it off every game. And against disruption heroes, forget about it, losing one card often turns her hand from godlike to unworkable.

Hey, one of the winning Kanos from this week here! The meta is quite rough for him honestly, I'm surprised he did as well as he did. Bad matchups in Aurora, DIO, Nuu and Prism. But he does have solid game into the gatekeeper of the format, Enigma, and he can prey on Viserai and Florian since they're rising up more and more. My own run was vs a lot of people teched heavily into me (full widow suite Nuus and so on), had some very difficult games and just barely managed to squeeze out the damage that I needed.

Most players play what they know. The memorable ones take a chance with something new. We'll see many more Dash and DIO for the final week. Unless some secret spice for Wizard or Arakni appear.

Dash IO is a crazy good deck. I expect her to be close to the top this weekend. The deck can block decently and just send 30 dmg turns. Also I really want to play Engima this weekend but the top players are all playing Runeblade and Aggro.

For a deck created in the era where LSS aims to limit gaining AP as crazy they didn't seem to have done a good job on this Dash.

I'm glad you've accepted the Tome Bans... this Kano player sure hasn't. I feel so lost in the meta now... I main Wizard and Warrior and feel like the game totally abandoned me. Tricked me into buying a ton of the very set that murdered Wizard by printing Wizard cards in it.

I'm guessing a combination of not everyone having decks ready when the Armory Deck came out 1-2 days prior to the ProQuests that weekend, as well as Dash I/O not being an easy deck to just pick up & play (quite the opposite actually), is what led to her winrate not reflecting the expectations of a lot of people. I suspect the wins will go up next week, although I don't necessarily believe she'll jump to first place (in terms of wins, she'll probably be the most played deck across the weekends events). The DIO pilots who were either on the deck before or have been practicing on Talishar since the cards were spoiled, or both, will win a lot of events, but the people who just picked the deck up because they heard she's broken now aren't going to have much luck imo.

I would personally argue that Florian, specifically, is attacking the meta less on the "Runeblade is good against Enigma axis," & more on the "disruption plus good defensive tools is good against DIO/Aurora/Viserai," axis. That being said, Florian specifically is 1 of the few decks capable of attacking the meta from both of those angles, but I think it requires different lists. There are Florian decks that exist to beat Enigma, & there are Florian decks primed to prey on the aggro decks, but these are not the same deck. I imagine the Florians who are finding success right now are the ones who were able to accurately predict what their local meta would look like & brought a list honed against that particular field.

DIO is good. Processor and the new shoes are good. But Aurora can do what Dash does more consistently with split damage and without banishing half her deck to do it.

I feel like the issue with D/IO is a similar issue to Kano and Levia. All 3 are very powerful decks, however all 3 require a lot of skill to pilot properly. D/IO will be a good deck, maybe even top 5, but I doubt she will go much higher than that due to her complexity. Additionally, she has some consistency issues.
