I have a similar rudder system on my feelfree lure 11.5. Mine runs stainless steel cable so stretch is at a minimum. When I first started using my rudder I became convinced it was not working. Than I remembered you need to lower it! LOL On a more serious note....until I looked closely at how the system worked I thought it didn't work correctly and I thought the same it needs more tension but after close inspection and understanding the principal of how it does what it does I understood how to use it effectively....besides lowering it first! Good luck with the kayak.

Hi, I know i’ve probably been asking too much, but could you potentially show how you load and unload your kayak on your ute. It can be featured in one of your future videos if you could please. Thanks for the kayak and fishing vids!

Hi I was wondering is it possible to have a second person sit on the front or back ?
@OutdoorFishingLivingMission4 жыл бұрын
Maybe a small child but you wouldn't want to push it, check out the Kayaks2fish Eagle or Triton, they are designed for 2 people

I have a next gen 10 and it's stable as. I am 80 kg but also put a petrol motor on the side still no issues. I have stood up in it but it would wanna be glasses out with no boat traffic about. But any kayak will rock n roll with passing wakes from boats. Had mine 18 mths only issue is the Rudder it's a shit set up and don't release or retract so well.
@OutdoorFishingLivingMission4 жыл бұрын
Yea the rudder isn't the greatest, usually where I go there's very boat traffic going full pelt. So the outriggers definitely come in handy there

hey mate, thinking of picking it up but worried about the size. Im a 6"1 male about 91kgs. How do you find it?
@OutdoorFishingLivingMission4 жыл бұрын
I'm a bit heavier than you I have not the greatest balance but have never rolled it, I ended up getting the outriggers so I could go in slightly wavier water and now I can do a full lean over the side with no dramas
@ericwu5064 жыл бұрын
Hey mate, can you stand up on it to fish?
@OutdoorFishingLivingMission4 жыл бұрын
I have stood up on the next gen 10 mkII with the outriggers very comfortably. Although in saying that I got a bad back so would rather sit and fish

If you have good balance you should be right buy i highly recommend the outriggers, makes it so much easier to balance for us bugger riders

I’m a good 120 and have mine decked out with all the goodies, live tank/esky/ small battery/sounder etc and take out at time camp gear for overnighters. So depending on what degree of fishing your planning you should be find. I planning myself of stepping up to the 4m one shortly due to the bigger trips I have planned. I hope this help 👍

Don't wanna be rude but this kayak isn't that great. Maybe if you use it a few times per year then yes, but fishing from it twice per week isn't any pleasure. Put it this way, my mate with his hobie and me in nextgen10 during slow current. Massive difference, hobie keeps the same path, where k2f drifts everywhere. Standing on it isn't any good either even on calm waters. I've tried hobie and difference is big! As I said, depend how often you use it, was good in first year, but after that I could see why is way cheaper...
@OutdoorFishingLivingMission4 жыл бұрын
I havent tried out a hobie before but this is a great entry level kayak for the price, hobie is going to cost more initially but if your fishing 2 times a week of it you can definitely justify the price. One kayak id love to try out it the old time kayaks from freak sports. They look built solid
