*Very well-made, stable, comfortable **enjoyable.fishing** recommend love that everything fits in bag. Easy to paddle for single person as well, however might be too heavy to carry by one.*

This has been really helpful. Kayakstofish should sponsor you if they don’t already. I want a next gen pedal kayak.

Dude! This is one of the best videos I've seen on Kayak Walkthrough. I'm a geezer and newb to all this stuff. I wondered what kayak to buy for my first as I knew I wanted to do some mods. What I'm trying to say is ya awesome, and thanks heaps for no BS, straight to the point, and how everything sets up and what's possible. Cheers brother! ;)

Mate, thanks for taking the time to show us your set up, I've got a dragon kayak that's similar, I've just got the 18 lb watersnake, it's perfect for trolling, seems slow, but amazing how much Territory you can cover in them, cheers mate, john

Wicked Sticky! You've inspired me to do a run down on my Yak too :) What sort of waters do you use it in? Is it good for open ocean, or lakes only. We run our Yaks in Port Phillip Bay, which can get pretty rough quick, so you gotta be on ya toes. I think Victoria is the only state in which you CANNOT fish during the pandemic. WTF On Ya Sticky! Stay healthy brother

Hey mate I've only fished dams , bays ,rivers & lakes it handle them good but I haven't try open ocean in it would be alright on a real clam day if you stayed in close but not a bad kayak yeah we can fish in nsw as long as your social distancing but yeah be good to see your kayak setup take it easy & stay safe too mate thanks cheers 👍

You answered my questions thanks! What a great setup. Been kayaking for a lot of years but I’m about to get my first fishing kayak (just a cheaper BCF one for starters, not a lot of choice here for brands with only 2 shops selling kayaks). But was wondering how to power a sounder and an electric motor if I got one so you answered that for me. I won’t have pedal power so just my poor little arms working over time lol so electric motor might be the way to go. But now wondering if I have no way to steer other then using my paddle as a ‘rudder’ like I do for normal kayaking, if I put a motor on the side is it just going to propel me around in circles if I don’t steer using my paddle?? 🤷♀️ do you know if you can mount them on the back rather then on the side?
@stickyfishyfishing3 жыл бұрын
Hi mate check out the ( kayak 2 fish ) Kayak that's what mine is i can steer mine with electric motor on the side but reckonmend you get a 24 lb motor i have a 18lb that bit of extra power helps in the wind to turn if windy sometimes need my paddle to turn around but some kayaks you can put motor on the back of kayak just need to find some one that makes that style of kayak or look on KZbin for ideas to do it your self make you own motor mount cheers 👍

Mate do you have any preference on using the boat vs kayak? And can you take your tinny offshore or does it get a bit uncomfortable offshore?

No preference some times i like to kayak fish and sometimes boat fish but can go in shallow water with kayak and a bit more stealth yeah I go off shore all the time in the right conditions and it's fine 👍

I tried many one of those 24 lb water snakes comes with a side mount It was a hopeless case the mount provider with is not stable jerks around everywhere and the kayak only went around could only go around In a circle How long is all that going to take to vibrate to pieces. And if you capsize you going to lose everything
@stickyfishyfishing4 жыл бұрын
I been using mine over a year and its been fine the kayak I use is very stable too maybe that's why the motor works good on my kayak 👍
@tuberworksjones4 жыл бұрын
@@stickyfishyfishing yes I think you definitely need a larger kayak I think mine is too small. What I am going to give it another go with a smaller battery as it may not at wey it down as much

@@stevenliu9121 Watch "Windsor Bait and Tackle" and "Shroom". They fish the Parramatta River. For Bream, target mangroves, rock points, breakwalls and other structure. Manmade structure is also good, piers, bridge pylons etc. Bream like cover, so find the cover, find the fish.
