The User controlled experience people are complaining about should be based on the play style the user has selected: Simulation, Competitive, Arcade. So MUT Will see the "COMP" Play style while franchise can be selected upon all three, that way players can truly choose the experience of which the game can be played in others modes, which will solve the issues of some players liking the new movement while others do not. Just my take:) pretty disappointed on what EA has done with Next Gen power, given the possibilities.

Great video!!!! Great points!!! I wasn't expecting anything from this version. I made that guess from the FREE upgrade. Madden 22 can't have the same issues in 2021. That is my theme going into 2021 year. No referees??? I'll let them pass for this transition. But in Madden 22 they MUST have them in the game. No excuse. Their old excuse that EA Game Changers have been giving them from them is memory. BS. But now there is no excuse. Settings will have to better. I'm tried of my audibles changing because the game wants to override my audible settings. Example. If I have a all pass plays in formation and add ONE run play it will take the place of Y , XBOX, audible. Same with PA will take the place of, RB, BOX. Once it stays set in the play editor it still won't set in Practice mode or possibly in the Game. As a programmer that makes no sense. Sounds like multiple functions pulling that information in. Sorting... I want to SORT my plays in each formation. Sorting my formations order. No more DOUBLE plays in the formations. ONE DIVE play is enough. And duplicate plays with different names by using a Team name is not necessary either. Blank Custom Playbook!!! No more create FROM. Give me a BLANK Playbook to create my own and no more game plan requirements that we have NO ACCESS to. No more player movements when you audible within the same formation. There is no reason for WRs to move in Doubles Shotgun between audible unless there is a CLOSE formation in that playbook. Same with Dice Slot and other formations. This is so easy to resolve it isn't funny. They gain don't know how to CODE simple things. I could eliminate all of this with no problem if I was there as a consultant. Did you know with XBOX ONE the game does not show 1st down with the game marker on the side of the field??????????????? How does this happen when it didn't happen in previous versions? You eliminate this by using the same function that determines the down on the scoreboard as the field marker or anywhere else in the game, but I doubt they do this. Sideline upgrade is a joke it no just another straight up lie. And they can't fall back on the system not having enough memory or anything else.

I remember back in the day i got madden 13 and every time i won the super bowl, it was the same lame animation. Then on madden 25, The exact same super bowl animation was being used. The part the really upset me was that it shows a screen of "super bowl champions" at the end. And there was an audio and visual glitch that was happen every time you won. and that really made me mad that they couldn't fix a minor problem. There are so many features that would make madden good and make them way more money, but they're company is run by people who never passed 1st grade.

I will say load times are significantly better (at least for getting into a game). Last gen had all the player stats and comparisons displayed on screen while the game loaded which took forever at times, where as now it jumps to a logo for a second and straight to the intro cutscenes. Still takes awhile to load the game up to the main menu, though I think that’s more a result of all the dumb pop ups they bombard you with constantly. But aside from that, very much agreed. Just a patch for the game on new consoles, and no doubt why it was free. I think even EA knew they would’ve caused some serious hell if they charged people to buy this again, considering how upset people already are with them.

Your own mansion 17. Playing against celebrities with super teams 18. You can actually run someone over and step over him 19. The dive over the top to endzone on goal line plays are perfected 20. The field has real grass u can tell over time how they tear up the field and jerseys get dirty 21. Versatility in creating your own team and players 22. Players have a long list of stats for versatility

The gameplay does feel a lot better. Players have more weight to them and the player movement on offense and defense are much better. Way less jerky animations and players react more realistically now.

i played madden 21, re downloaded 25, and omg is the gameplay sooo much better, and they still support the servers so you can download the updated rosters

I caught the Madden upgrade on Thurs morn for my 5 and played - While it's still same ole stale Madden, like Soft said, the movement feels better and with the Dual Sense just making EVERY game feel better, it's a nice cherry on top. The visuals really pop and I do enjoy the improvements to the sidelines and crowds but just like Soft said, I caught those same hinderances yet it doesn't really bother me because EA. Ha. The audio is really great in the Pulse headset (I would guess the same in any 3D headset) and I did play it once withouth the headset. Nice touch with the cadences coming through the controller. I also like the gang tackling. Seems improved BUT there is a habit of players coming in to add on and tackle ball carriers forward. Smmfh. I was highly disappointed with the rain not soaking jerseys/clothes over time, since EA just loves to over do anything new they add by showing it over and over and u constantly see rain drops hit dry jerseys/clothing all game long like it resets over and over, and sideline and crowd folk not wearing proper attire in the rain. Also, the rain doesn't bounce of helmets or anything but it's cool seeing the rain on it. I guess it will be coming sooner or later in a future Madden. Yawn. Also, out patterns are broken because, once again, seems like EA just over did the new player leaning tech because instead of making quick cuts out to the sidelines, they angle outwards and lean into the turn. No, just no. Even the route overlay shows sharp , 90 degreee angles out. Doesn't do that in the last gen versions. I rely on those routes time to time. There is more I can say but,that said, I'm actually enjoying this Madden on the 5. I actually begrudingly got the PS4 version on sale during Amazon week. I usually get it on release day for some stupid reason...oh, the trade in deals at Best Buy. Lol but I've been frustrated with Madden for the longest and was somewhat boycotting this one, finally, but the whole next gen thing made me rethink so seeing it for $30, I eventually got it. I guess I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired of Madden. I usually never play them much after getting them then they collect dust for months until a month or 2 before the next one comes out but Madden 20, it stayed collecting dust this yr. Ha.

Stop buying the game and do not invest in next-gen. Seriously guys, you are: 1. Giving them what they want 2. Not producing any meaningful change while hurting your own pocketbook Not worth it.
