I am a massive fan of CKK Electronics pedals ( owned by Sinvertek ). I have 14 in my collection. Incredible value for money and they all sound fantastic! This SHOD-A pedal also sounds amazing! This SHOD-A isn’t just a standard overdrive pedal, it’s made from extremely rare high value components and every pedal is made by hand and tested by the man himself ( Nan Wu ).

I have a ckk scream honey I like. I've had the set a couple weeks and I dig it. The set together has some sauce in it. For me it might end up being worth it because I won't need any other klon style pedal. Like trying to save money by spending it haha.

I got the Sinvertek N5 MGAT-1. Wonderful Marshally pedal. Billed "hyper preamp" and handbuilt by Wu. I cannot imagine it ever leaves my board, tbh. Someone knows what he is doing...

I have that one too, and for some reason it scares people it’s not any more complicated than all the stuff that they have to do to plug a modeler into a computer and audio face and all that other stuff. I had to get mine used it wasn’t that much he was selling them for $200 and I guess the price went up. I also have the 3-D it’s green but the writing is silver. It’s not the gold. It sounds like a Soldano. And the very reasonable V2 N5. And I don’t need all of them. But idk when the price went up. That’s how much my guitar cost.

Paul, so as I’ve posted down below, I have a few of these and I blame Simon McBride because he had the V2 N5. Then I got the one with all the Marshalls in it and you can’t get in touch with the guy so I bought it used but it wasn’t $900. like I said down below that’s as much as I paid for my guitar. I won’t pay that for a pedal and then I stupidly got another pedal at the time. I had an addiction to pedals. It’s under control after ten yrs. I have the 3-D, it sounds like a Soldano. Anyway, I hope you’re doing well I think I found I’m not getting it but I think I found the nicest looking PRS and again it’s Simon McBride. It’s like a charcoal with the stripes. I think that’s the nicest guitar I’ve seen in prs’s. Cheers I was going to say have a good weekend, but it’s Tuesday. Oh, I wanted to say I plugged them in the front of my amp. They sound fine. I don’t plug them in the return effects. Take care. 🙃

I agree. It took some "creative reasoning" and some 0% financing to justify me getting the ng set. The set pair great,you might be missing out just getting one half. And yea ofc I'm biased I blew the chuck on it, I want it to be great.

What is the fret size on your strat? Those frets look enormous, like Dunlop 6000 or something like that?

I have a n5 3d Titanium of this chaps and while the pedal is a great, great SLO preamp, this guy, the one man operation has absolutely *atrocious* customer service. If you need to talk to him, forget about it...I've made 3 attempts, ghosted each time.
